Discovation every Thursday. Funky disco classics, film scores & breaks. Thirteen years ago we started promotions at The Rhino Club and ran as ‘Discovation’ for a period of ten years. Originally evolving from a Seventies disco night into our own style, we soon formed an avid following from locals and students from Southampton University and Southampton Solent University. Our music policy ranged from retro disco and funk to TV theme tunes, Ibiza anthems, film scores and more; we aim to provide an eclectic party vibe that is neither too commercial nor too obscure. ‘Discovation’ is a complete scene, not merely a musical policy. We have regular additional musicians to add to the groove, complimentary cocktails and shots and regular drinks company promotions. After an eighteen month break we are back at the recently refurbished Rhino Club every Thursday, 10pm till 2am, £3 before 12am and £3.50 after. All night drinks promotions: Fosters twist & vodka & splash £1.75 all night. Vodka, Gin, Rum, Whiskey, Brandy & a splash all £1 before 11pm.
