Following on from our fantastic 2nd birthday party with Norman Jay, we will be seeing out the summer in style at our final SoBar party of the year. We have secured a couple more Emotive exclusives to make it another party to remember...the perfect way to kick off a very large bank holiday weekend! As our main guest we have Steve Butler, resident DJ at the legendary Southport Weekender. Steve has appeared at every event for the last 5 years and his Friday night sets in the B-Bar have become an unmissable part of the weekend. He also plays all over the UK at the renowned Cool Note nights. Alongside Steve will be the residents from Soul City, Eatmysoul and King Louie. Having just celebrated their 2nd birthday with special guest Joey Negro, Soul City go from strength to strength and have become the most respected underground soulful house promoters in London. They also complete the Southport connection, as they were originally inspired to throw their own parties by going themselves! They always bring their own party crowd with them, so expect a great atmosphere as always. Other than that, it will be the usual SoBar malarky - alongside our guests, residents Ashley Wilson, Steve Luke and Neil Maclean will bring you the best in soulful and classic house. The party starts at 2pm and goes through til late, starting outside and then moving indoors. Entry is just £3 before 6pm and £5 after. As with our previous 2 parties of the summer, £1 of this will be donated to breast cancer research. View flyer: front / back
