This night has been on everyones callender for a while now and seeing as it was the last one of 2006 everyone wanted depthcharge to go out of 2006 with a bang !!

And what a line up to do it with! regulars flatfoot sam and Rueben lowe and local UFO leading the pack.

Walking on the boat is the best, meeting and greeting friends new and old and gearing up for what is about to happen! the beer and water is flowing and the ravers are growing in numbers.

The night started for me when Geos took to the mic, as usual unpredictable and as good as ever. with stand out tune "look at all the ravers" u could here the crowd going mad and lovin it !!! me and my group of mates knew every word and sung till are throats hurt.

When miss special k took to the decks everyone was in an exellent mood, Geos' mc'ing was unreal and it was now up to verbal to carry on what Geos sytarted and i think he did it very well, with miss special k drawing them in with tunes and verbals rhyming putting the smile on the face of every other raver.

All night long i was speaking to both reben and flatty and i was anitsipating both there sets all night and they didnt fail to dissapoint ! .................

When Flatfoot Sam stepped up every single person there was at the highest point and needed to hear some tunes to make them move, i felt like every tune he played was absoloutly spot on. the whole boat shook with exitment as the ravers just looked on in ore.

"make sure your at the front for the beggining....." that was the phrase said to me by Rueben when i saw him before his set, and i was , for the whole thing i loved that set and in my eyes by far the best of the night but i also hated it n all , i needed a piss the whole way through but i didnt wanna stop raving!! when he told me the lap top crashed i was devastated because i wasnt going to be able to hear it again. my mate james wouldnt stop talking about that set and the man himelf for a long while afterwards !!

UFO, i mean he needs no introduction! a southampton boy born and bred and how someone out of southampton can create the tunes he has is beyond me! my friend ben and i love "connections 06" and to see that perfored in front of my eyes and see the DJ loving every second of it was unreal! and speaking to him outside just shaking his hand was brilliant.

And this kiddies is why u should come to the boat party, because you'll have a bangin night, meet the DJs and come home smiling ( well if there jaws let them smile that is )

Bring on Styles and Wizzkid !!! maybe Save Me wont cut out this time !

Unfortunately it was the power cut on the boat that caused the laptop to crash and lose the sets. Chris E H opening set is on the hard drive though so i'll master it up and get it on here for everyone. Problem with the laptop is now cured as i bought a new one. No more power faliures or even El Capitain switching the power off can stop us now!!!!!! Heres to 07!!!

The Captain always switches the power off 5 minutes before we come back into port, so that our music doesn't distract him while he docks the boat. Is it possible to arrange for the boat to come back into port at 2:15, which should allow the last DJs to finish their sets and the mixes saved to disk before the power is turned off? (Presumably the bars would still close at 2?)
