Sunday 23rd March 2007 2.00 -7.30pm (Boarding between 2 - 3 pm)

Its nearly that time again, so its only fair to let you in on our little secret and spill the beans about our first boat party for 2008. As ever, our commitment to throwing the "best bloody rave up on our seas" holds firm, and this will be no exception. Galloping his way to the South Coast ready to join us on Easter Sunday is Ministry of Sounds resident and boss man of Toolroom Records, Mr Mark Knight.

Since the start of his residency in 2003 Mark has cemented his place as one of the UK's leading DJ/producers. At the head of his "Toolroom Knights" brand he has been instrumental in driving the scene with his DJing, production, and through the label, by seeking out and releasing some of the finest cuts of recent years. Dubfire's "Roadkill" and more recently "What the Fuck" by Funkagenda are prime examples.

Mark's passion for DJing makes him the ideal guest to start 2008 with guns blazing. So while the rest of the nation are tucking into their cream eggs, get yourself down to Ocean Village for what promises to be the most memorable party this side of the Summer. But don't leave it too long to get that ticket or you'll be uttering more expletives than an episode of Kitchen Nightmares.

In a change to 2007, we're doing something different with the lower deck. We're leaving the summery soulful sounds ashore this year to give it more of an underground vibe. Downstairs will now play host to "High Tide goes Deeper", where our residents and the occasional guest will be offering up a hypnotic helping of deep/tech grooves and minimal beats.

The first instalment will be headed up by Tom Budden (Familia/Release), and Soton's representative on the London after-hours scene, Mouj (Jaded/Release). They'll receive support from Nocturnal's Lloyd & Faz.

So now you know what's what, all that's left to do is get your ticket and leave the rest to us. We look forward to welcoming you on board the first High Tide of 2008.
