Here's the crack - the boat was not docking to let people off, it had to dock on this one occasion to let Sy & Storm on as the speedboat that we usually use to get our DJ's & MC's on and off the boat was out of action.

Mine, and the security’s directions from the captain were to let nobody off as it was not safe to do so as the boat was not being tied up to the same degree of safety that you would normally get when it docks at the start and the and of the night. It was just a fleeting visit to pick to guys up under the supervision of our security and boat crew.

Two individuals who were ill were also given permission to get off.

So when there was a mad push by a bunch of badly behaved individuals insisting that they get off, our security had to restrain the situation and hold people back from getting off in a scenario to protect those individuals and the safety of those around them and also the safety of Sy and Storm that were trying to get on the boat.

If people had done what they were asked to do this situation would not have arisen. In short, there is no part of our advertising for the boat that suggests you can leave the boat at half past midnight? Usually, the big boat never docks.

I'm sorry if anyone got hurt in the squeeze to get off the boat, I genuinely am but nobody should have been leaving the boat and you were all asked not to so I'm afraid that Depth Charge / our security & the boat company cannot be held responsible for people acting in a dangerous way like this.

We pride ourselves on providing a safe environment for our clubbers to party and our security is amongst the most friendly and chilled bunch that I have ever had the fortune to work with over the years. In this instance, they were responding to an awkward situation that could have got out of hand with a few badly behaved individuals who insisted on ignoring orders NOT to the leave the boat.

I'm sorry if this spoilt anyone's night and in the future, we will be using the speedboat, as usual, to get our DJ's on and off the boat to avoid this problem occurring again.

Thanks to the 99% of our clubbers who yet again made this an amazing quality night with a top class atmosphere and to Sy & Storm who smashed their set. Truly awesome.

If Fluffy or anyone else for that matter, still has issues with how we dealt with this issue or has any other gripes from the night, please feel free to PM me and I will be happy to talk them through with you.
