– TSUNAMI BENEFIT FUNDRAISER– Southampton, Saturday, 22nd Jan 2005 @ The Hampshire Ram.

Southampton will be able to party for the DEC Tsunami appeal with a night of top-notch dance music at The Hampshire Ram, The Strand, Hanover Buildings, Southampton.

RiskyDisco.com and psyreviews.com have teamed up to bring one room of full power psytrance, with fully immersive UV décor and visuals, and a soundsystem that’s featured at some of the best parties and festivals in the UK.

DJs include Southampton’s Damion Psyreviews (Samadhi, psywire.com) and Ian Kirkham (RiskyDisco.com, Eufluoria) upstairs, together with Winchester and Brighton legend Sketchy Steve making his first appearance in Southampton.

South African DJ The Android makes his UK debut, and with more music and visuals being supplied by ET (psy-forum, omniscience) the event promises to be an impressive twist of international DJs.

The Downstairs room is hosted by The Nut (Visionfunk, Critical Breaks) and guests include Spollin (Influenza, outofthevoid.co.uk), DJ Cooker (ElectroCosmicSector) and a world debut for Berkshire’s DJ Ratty.

The goal of the evening is to raise money for the Disasters Emergency Committee’s DEC Tsunami Earthquake Appeal.

“These images shocked the world, and we felt that we had to do something” said Damion Psyreviews.
“Our message is basically ‘We don’t care if you’ve given before – shut up, dance, and give some more’.”

The party starts at 8pm and runs until 2am.
Entry is by donation (suggested minimum £2.00)
