Ministry of Sound Housexy Album Launch
Special Guest - Nick Bridges

Reisdent DJ's - David Flemming and Liam Florey

Saturday 25th March 2006 sees the return of Ministy Of Sound's new house music label 'Housexy' and promises to be another amazing night.

Housexy has already established itself in a monthly residency in the famous Bar at Ministry of Sound on the first Saturday of each month, offering the opportunity to hear the sounds of the series in one of the country’s most celebrated clubbing environments.

Taking in elements of disco, electro, and a heavy dose of soul, Housexy lets the music do the talking. The very ethic of Housexy - Understated but utterly irresistible.

Nick Bridges

Nick Bridges is one of the leading new-breed house music DJ's and producers in the UK.

Following three key residencies throughout the East of England, Nick caught the attention of 'Rulin' giving him a debut at Ministry of Sound (MOS) in 1999.

Throughout 2001, Nick’s performances led to a succession of dates and residencies across Europe, including Pacha & Space, Ibiza; and he was accordingly appointed MOS' World Tour resident in 2002 playing every weekend throughout Europe, the Russian federation and Asia

2003 saw Nick cement his position as one of the UK's hottest rising talents with his second album release, the launch of his weekly radio show on Ministry of Sound Radio and his appointment as Ministry of Sound London’s Saturday Sessions resident. 2003 also saw the start an exciting new production partnership with Full Intention's Jon Pearn.

Pearn & Bridges' debut 'Ruff Beats' was signed to Seamus Haji’s Big Love label earlier this year, reaching hype/club chart success with support from all the usual suspects including ATFC, Stonebridge, Norman Jay and Mark Knight; putting Nick on the map as an innovative, world-class DJ/producer.

In 2004, Nick was tipped as 'one to watch' by IDJ mag and later made the final nominations in the 'Breatkthough DJ' category at the House Music Awards, alongside the likes of Nic Fanculli and Mark Knight. The industry leading award programme has been created 'to recognise and celebrate the creators and innovators of house music'
