Ok we get in at 8:10 and tunes were being dropped, but the place was empty. So we stayed and thought it would get busier. It really didnt, so we left at 9:30.

DJ Darryl was quality, droping great tunes and mixing perfectly. But.

Room 24 was just poor. With one light, one smoke machine, and the speakers weren't loud enough. Seriously this needs sorting *but I heard from my sources that these were broken right before the event so had to be hired? would it have otherwise been better?* Another point is the makeshift cloakroom, which was a corner that you felt like chucking your coat in..

Another gripe was the bar who was hardly serving anyone. But still... why wasn't it at all busy?

I hope the Room 24 gets some better gear because it could have been a quality night, just lacked the atmosphere :(

Room 24 is private hire venue. I can tell you now they dont have 1 speaker, amp, tunrtable etc in the entire building that belongs to them. I know this as Ive hired the venue with my felow twizted mates for our night on the 28th of march.

We are heavily in to our tunes and have spent a small fortune on hiring a massive sound system for the night!! lasers and all!! we are so dedicated that even if we fill the place up we will lose money on this night!!

Messy was started in Room 24. It's a great venue and it's nice to hear other people are using it.

We'll last night was the "tester" so not much money was spent on it towards lights and sound.
We actually arnt doing it as privite hire as we are in partner ship ith the owners so we are doing another night next week and we are allowed double the amount of ppl so we will be opening both sides of room 24. this means we will be spending more on lights and sound.
The thing it lacked was people, but to be honest it was decided the friday b4 that we was gna do it so 150 turning up over a week aint bad.

this saturday is going to be bigger and better
and if you wanan get served you better have i.d.
