Chris, what is coming up on the horizon, regarding production work?

I'm really busy at the moment working on a new EP to launch my label, Aesthetix Recordings, and the first track's been going down really well at my gigs. The plan with the label is to bring something new to the scene, releasing tracks that will tear it up on the dancefloor but that will equally sit just as well on a film soundtrack or on your home hi-fi. The project's really fired up my imagination, and it's going to be interesting to see where it all goes!

Have you played in Southend before and what can we can the audio chic crowd expect from you?

I've never played in Southend before so I'm really looking forward to checking out Audio Chic! You can expect a bigroom, eclectic peaktime set, with plenty of techno, electro, progressive and minimal tracks twisted up with my EFX unit, and a few surprises thrown in too. When I'm not warming up, I always aim to tear the roof off, and it's always more fun doing that in your own unique way.

Have you got any overseas gigs in the near future, if so where?

We're currently putting together an international tour to launch Aesthetix Recordings with. It's too early to talk about specific dates, but the tour will include dates everywhere from England to Eastern Europe and Asia. I'm really looking forward to roadtesting some of the new tracks on some of the world's coolest dancefloors, and of course Audio Chic on Saturday!

Tell us about electronic sessions

Electronic Sessions is a really unique night - it's almost been going two years, and in that time it's really given the London clubbing scene a wake-up call with really strong line-ups and an eclectic music policy spanning progressive, trance, house and electro. As well as putting on some wicked parties at London clubs, the ES boat parties have become something really special, and now they're now selling out every time. Probably the most important ingredient is the crowd though - the atmosphere's always wicked and it's ace playing to such an up-for-it crowd!
