Ok so the night started out a little slow but got down there early. Downstairs was empty, but still quite a crowd in the main arena. some big mc'in went down in the main room pretty much all night long, was popping off in there!!! me, wizzkid and prophecy had a good hour session on da mic in da basement as part of the competition, same as some of the other underground mc's. wud have been nice to see a few more faces down the basement but what can ya do?!? so anyways. rest of da night went good, atmosphere was comfortable, not too many hoods-up rude bois who just make the night shit-uncomfortable wen ur brokin out next to dem. one big big shame was the sound check durin and around the sublow set, big feedback at some points which made it a bit dissapointing but still was a phat set!!! i really wudnt put it down to any of the double d team for that tho, heard sumfing about the sound technician bailed after a few hours, what a bell*** lol!!! overall... a good night out down southend, well worth the 130 mile drive from norfolk to go to!!! nice one double d lads!!! hope to hear theres gona b a part 4!!!
