|NEON| was born in the dark depths of Medicine Bar, Shoreditch in June 2007. Held every 2nd Friday of the month it became a hot spot for clubber's who were searching for something different. There we held many successful parties that always went off. Since then we have hosted other venues such as the laid to rest KEY, Kings Cross and other venues in and around London.

In may 2008 we secured our new place of residency SUNROOMS, in our homeland of Southend, Essex. Held every 2nd Saturday @ SUNROOMS - |NEON| continues to succeed as one of the best Electronic house nights in Essex. Gaining respect from clubber's who know their music, and who are never disappointed in what they hear. Each month we twist the rule book, and throw it high giving you the best in fresh talent. By making each month different, we aim to please you with our DJ's, and other things we will pull out from our sleeves. Selecting only those who we feel meet the spec, aswell as our |NEON| Resident's who always put up a great show. We have had the likes of top DJ/ Producer KANIO (Italio Business) play for us, as well as other talented DJ's each month. If you've been to any of our parties you'll know what we are all about...If you haven't, shame on you...your missing out BIGTIME!

It's been an amazing ride for us all, and we are very much looking forward to our Birthday Party as we grow another successful year older!

Now on with the next event...Thie big one! And with this we will be making things go a little loco...We are pleased to announce we have booked - DANNY RAPER (KeToLoCo).

For most of you KeToLoCo will need no introduction, for those who do not know this event, your in for a real treat! Running events up and down the country & IBIZA, working alongside Mixmag and other massive event's, KeToLoCo has made it's mark in clubland as one of the best undergound techno nights around, and we bring in one of their main resident's to join our party!!

Give it a go and prepare yourself's for what's in store...We will also be having a later licence, Neon giveaways, a birthday party atmosphere you wont forgot and much, much more! Also expect our resident DJ's who have contributed their amazing styles of music since the very start, and have continued to wow us all...

KeToLoCo Biog:

20 years ago three chancers returned from a boys' holiday on the White Isle. Unbeknownst to them they precipitated a club land revolution with their newly acquired Balearic tunes and hedonistic attitudes. The rest, as they say, is history. But history can be a little dull: what are the cool kids up to now?

Well, another group of nine-to-five dodging twentysomethings returned from the same Isle a few years ago, drifting in on what would become the zeitgeist: a penchant for all nighters, unhinged techno and boundary bulging parties. Since then, they have rocked disused Ibizan zoos, boats, a fully functional garage and, of course, they painted their basement red and threw the sort of parties that dribbling ravers will bang on about in thirty years' time. Until, that is, someone in a Policeman's outfit turned out not to be in fancy dress after all. Bummer.

The 'Loco crew now wrap themselves all round the country, enveloping after-hours clubbers from Manchester to Preston, London to Belfast, in a warm, pulsating blanket of techno. Be it the eerie soundscapes of an Audion style wonkathon, the experimental techno of Villalobos, or the pure minimal of a M_nus release, a Ketoloco party takes the atmosphere and family values of a an old school rave and soundtracks it with razor sharp electronica.

A host of semi inducing talent invariably accompanies the techno rebels on their cross-country crusades: Lutzenkirchen, Shonky, Ralph Lawson, Dave Beer, Zoo Brazil, Clive Henry and more have all had their cake at a 'Loco event somewhere.

KeToLoCo is an underground afterparty for like-minded freaks on the Leeds, UK & Ibiza clubbing scene. For it's first year it was held at the now legendary DC15 basement club, at a secret location in the sunny town of Headingley in Leeds. Since October 2007 we moved onto pastures new, and a new basement club was born - enter 'DC16'.

The idea arose from the minds of the residents of DC15 after a summer on the island of Ibiza. Spending time at some of the best clubs in the world like DC10 and dancing till dawn at fantastic club nights such as CiRcOlOcO inspired a passion in the group that needed fulfilling. Chris Halliday, Tom Fisha, Sean Cookson, Marcus Sumpner, Danny Raper, Hedley Gisbourne, Eddy Osborne and the one and only CHIEF had spent a day with the horses when they decided that Leeds needed a bit of something extra. KeToLoCo was born!

The plan was to host afterparties for the best clubnights in Leeds including; Technique & Asylum, Back To Basics and Dirty Disco. The boys were fed up with leaving clubs at 6am and heading home to sit in a living room until the crumble pie was served. They wanted the chance to carry on dancing until their heads had fallen off, they wanted top quality banter with other wreckheads and most of all they wanted the choice to do whatever they wanted in laid back surroundings.

The next stage in the saga was to transform their student digs in Headingley into a mini-club suitable for KeToLoCo. As DC15 took shape and the red of the DC10 terrace coated the walls, a feeling of anticipation pulsed through the house and it was obvious something special was happening. DC15 was finished and the dark and dirty basement club was perfect for KeToLoCo.

The first party was planned for mid September 2006 and the timing couldn't have been better with friends returning from Ibiza and students flooding back to Leeds after the summer. KeToLoCo was to host an unofficial yet official afterparty for Back To Basics. As word spread around Leeds and the myspace page received more hits, it was evident that KeToLoco was going to be huge!

The party kicked of at 7am on Sunday morning straight after Basics, which helped the boys avoid the Environmental Health noise legislation. The opening set was from Fisha, a resident of DC15, and he set the tone for the day with an excellent blend of Dirty Techno and Filthy Electro. The basement was full and people were going wild with a look of disbelief and pure pleasure strewn across their faces. However the highlight of the day was a special guest slot from birthday boy Ralph Lawson (lifelong resident of Back to Basics) and this cemented KeToLoCo as the number one Leeds afterparty. The next DJ to grace the decks was Chris Halliday, DC 15 resident and winner of the Audio Intercourse DJ Competition 2006. The start of Chris' set included the KeToLoCo theme tune; "Goin Loco Down in Ketoloco" and he managed to uphold the special atmosphere created by the previous DJ's.

As the day wound down the 150 or so clubbers took to the DC15 terrace to bask in the late summer sunshine and chat about the days chananigans. The ken flowed and everybody agreed it was the perfect way to finish off an excellent weekend.

JOB DONE!

Since that special first KeToLoCo @ DC15 we have gone on to host and gig at parties throughout the UK and Ibiza. Thanks to everyone who has helped us make it this far....
