The Future Sound of drum & bass brought to you by the pioneers of the scene,

alongside the stars of the future. After the success of the Launch Party at Club Zinc

seeing Fabio from Radio 1 grace the decks alongside the Singing Fats, "Future Sound" returns to Southend on Friday 16th November welcoming: DJ Hype & MC GQ.

DJ Hype profile has never been higher with his Drum & Bass Arenas mix cd just hitting the streets, his hugely successful show on Londons Kiss FM, promoting one of Londons busiest Drum & Bass event none other than Playaz at Fabric and last but not least winning the honours of Best D&B DJ at 1 Extra's Extra Bass Awards. Whilst achieving all this DJ Hype is holding down a busy DJ schedule whilst running two of D&B's most prestigious lables Ganja Records and Playaz, which have sprouted offshoots such as Liqweed Ganja, Frontline Records, Jeckyl n Hyde & Ganja Tek.



MC GQ







MC GQ has been hosting the mic at raves up and down the country since day dot at legendary events such as World Dance, Helter Skelter, Awol, One Nation, Metalheadz amongst many more. A decade on and GQ can still be seen flying the flag for Drum & Bass at events accross the world. Whilst occuping a busy lifestyle GQ still has time to run the well established label Emcee Recordings releasing tracks from Sabre, Clipz, Allied Force, Breakage and Jubei.







Warming up the decks for the original true playa wil be Slick and White Haze from Charge 90.8FM, DJ Exel from Deep Beats and Dj Shuffle representing Intense Records. On mic duties will be Messy MC from Bounce and EZ Roller fame, Indica reppin Intense and MC Kruze. Room 2 aka the Smokers Terrace is hosted by Planetdnb.com one of the scenes leading intenet radio stations and information sites. A with a huge line up from the planetdnb rosta catch artists such as Woodpacka representing Radical Beats, Unix & Krucial from Kool FM, MC Petite amongst many more.

Door Tax on the night is only £6 b4 11pm and £8 After, arrive early as this is going to be a roadblock event.

Trippin Out Coaches will be running coaches from all over Essex including pick ups in Chelmsford, Colchester, Braintree and Basildon.
