wow, i cant believe how quick time flys! We are almost 2 years old since we started our residency at Zinc Nightclub and we have only you loyal clubbers to thank for our continued success. We are proud to announce our special guest dj for this month is living legend and SUPERFREQ head man MR C. He will be joining the tdg team for a awesome 3 hr set as we rock the joint till 6am! We will be putting on the best showcase of 2008 so far with angle grinders, stilt walkers, erotic dancers and our special birthday show. Expect the unexpected as once again the freaks come out to play!




A brief Biog of MR C (in his own words):

I'm a Capricorn, Snake .......
Old enough to know better but young enough to get away with it......................what can one do?
I'm married, to the gloriously sexy Xochitl who's a massive inspiration in my life.
I got into partying at an early age & knew this would be my field of work. I started MCing & rapping when I was 16 & soon after started working with Jasper the vinyl junkie, Jazzy M & Ron Tom all on LWR pirate radio in London. Soon after this I became MC for Evil Eddie Richards & Colin Faver working as an MC on Kiss FM.

I made my first deep house tune in 1987 with Eddie Richards on his Baad imprint & then started spinning VINYL which is my true passion today.
I started promoting underground house music parties in London in early 1988. these have included Fantasy (88), Base (89), Release (with Nathan Coles in 91), Harmony (92), The Drop (93), Vapourspace (94), Subterrain (95-2002), Superfreq (2002-present).
I DJ'd weekly on Kiss FM, London from 1994 to 2002.
I spin underground, trippy, haunting, sexy, stripped back, electro, maximal, tech house. If you want to send me VINYL, please send it to, Mr.C, The End, 18 West Central Street, London, WC1A 1JJ, UK. Please don't send CDs as i don't play them (unless it's unreleased tracks that you wish me to audition for release).
I'm primarily a DJ/producer/promoter/actor/bullshitter.
I became a pop star with The Shamen in 1991.
I won the Ivor Novelo "Songwriter's of the year" with The Shamen in 1992 & started Plink Plonk records in the same year.
I've also recorded under the names Myster-E (with Eddie Richards), Nu Jacks (with Femi B), The Shamen (with Colin Angus), Somnambulist (with Paul RIP), Mantrac, Animus Amor (with JY), Killer Loop (with Layo), Mr.C & Tom Parris & I now record Solo as Mr.C or with my production partner Adultnapper as the Sycophant Slag's.
I opened The End club & End Recordings in London with partners Layo & Douglas Paskin in 1995. I launched Superfreq Records with partner Luke VB in 2005.

Superfreq parties have been jumping for nearly 5 years now & currently run every Sunday at The End, check www.endclub.com. Superfreq also does parties with MADE Event in New York & Miami, check www.madeevent.com & has just started a quarterly residency at Alalon in LA & has had 5 fantastic seasons in Ibiza, 3 at Underground & last season we had a very successful move to the legendary DC10 & summer 2007 at DC10 every Wednesday .

I love fashion & I'm well into getting done up like a dogs dinner & shaking a leg with da Mrs. I'm into quality everything from food to wine to clothes to music to design to film to art etc.etc. After all, it's all about the finer things in life sweetie darling. I like laughing. I like huggles. I like being silly. I like pink. I like, i like! My spelling's crap but i smell nice. I love Chikinini's (what else is an Ubo meant to do)?
