Everything On Red formed in early 2007, EVERYTHING ON RED play their own unique brand of punk rock. Switching from rapid rhythms to anthemic breakdowns in a heartbeat, frenetic drums and solid bass-work provide the backbone for electrifying synths, crunching guitars and a triple-pronged vocal attack . With the release of the "EVERYTHING ON RED" EP through Cash-for-Pigs Records in September 2008, EVERYTHING ON RED set out intent on changing the face of an increasingly stale music scene. Each of the four tracks on the EP are a testament to the passion and drive of each band member. Their influences are never obvious, but combine to create the rich, diverse sound which is unleashed during every live show. Now, after signing to Lockjaw Records in May 2009, EVERYTHING ON RED plan to release their debut album and demonstrate their sound as an exciting band clearly in the ascendency. MALACITE Originally formed in 2004 by Vocalist Matt Jurkiewicz & Drummer Alex Buckley, Malacite were initially a purely thrash based outfit, twinning the breakneck chug of early Slayer with Matt’s love of romantic harmony. Cutting their teeth on the Stafford scene, Malacite quickly became local favourites, in the process going through several lineup changes before stabilising with guitarist Ben Cresswell & bassist Jack Traveller. "The instrumental performances pulse with a youthful energy and raw exuberance that combines with the members’ obvious virtuosity to quickly get the listener’s head banging" - Onemetal.com INERTIA are currently a three piece noise machine who hail from the sunny side of Staffordshire! With 4th member Dan Price (piano, guitar, harmonica, vocals, moral) currently working abroad with Adidas, Inertia have adapted by carrying on and emailing dan the songs for him to play along with at his own leisure in the hope that he may one day return! Inertia consists of Paul (copper) Adam (teacher) Dan (Doctor) and Chris (barman...) and all collectively have not much in common when it comes to musical taste however seem to agree somehow on a certain sound when they get together. Chris is the latest member of the band and has arrived on bass duties, although physically intimidating weighing in at a whopping 16 stone and as tall as your average sized semi-detached house, he is actually a complete pussy! As well as this he happens to be a hugely talented individual both in music and photography and takes partial credit for the song 'Falling' which appears on this site. Paul plays the drums and hits them so hard we worry he is slightly psychotic. Built like a Greek god, Paul uses this to his advantage and takes advantage of all the female groupies who appear at all these gigs we've done! Paul’s only wish in life is to one day be as good as Adam at Football. PLUS - Acoustic Acts & Dj's 'til 2am. 13th November @ The Bird In Hand - 8pm Onwards £3 / 2 NUS
