For the attention of the GG organisers:
Just a few questions:

1) Why are you not allowing people to bring food in with them?

2) Why are you limiting the amount of water that people are allowed to bring in and why have you stated that 1litre is allowed in the "info" area and then in the "FAQ" area on your website you then state that 2 litres is permitted?

Please can you answer these questions for me otherwise my friends and I will not be going.

Thank you

Soaps

What will happen if someone who buys a ticket to the event is seen handing out the cards?

That will be for the security to decide. The cards would definitely be taken off them but then this is most likely to happen at the gate anyway where people get searched

I don't see how handing out DSI can do anything but bring publicity to your event.

For DSI you mean ;-)

As I say, we work closely with the DSI guys. We have an ad deal in place with them this year and we use them for all of our events. In the future who knows what deals we will have in place with them but this year there is no sponsorship/partnership

Security? Hahaha are you going to eject people for giving someone else a piee of card in some cases then?! Brilliant x

Well as i'm sure you are aware it is generally security who search on the gates, not us staff, we have our own jobs to worry about ;-)

A picture tells a thousand words.

Of course, that's why we hire photographers

i would also stress that we were told this last year and it turned out the only real shaded areas in the campsite where part of stalls selling food, obviousley unless you were paying for food you could not sit in there.

Last year DSI collaborated with creamfields and hosted the main arena, for the event they had special creamfields cards made up which im sure no one can deny was a massive benefit for both DSI and creamfields.

do you not feel something like this would be a better route to go down given the influence this site has on a large scale rather than turning excellent photographers than generate alot of interest in this site and the events posted on it away.

for example, i took a fair amount of photo's at global in 2006 and really enjoyed checking back at everyone elses efforts after the event, they made a consistantly brilliant effort and made the event look good, in 2007 i didnt even bother checking again as there is simply no point in clicking through x amount of randoms photos.

i dont get why you want people to go to the offical site for pics, what benefit is it to the user other than to see the image, theres no social networking element, theres no opportunity to plan your clubbing calender and as you say unless people have been living under a rock for years they already know about the event.
