My first Global experiance.... mindblowing.
before this year, 2007, i had never been to global gathering, although always wished i could be there raving my heart out whilst listening to it on the radio. However this year i got myself sorted and went down with a load of friends with the intention of a hard weekend raving... all expectations were fulfilled.
the people at global are all the nicest people i have ever met and if you are dying for that drop of water when u are in the middle of an amazing set, someone will always be willing to give you some no matter how little they have left. They will happily share their 'inxoticating substances' with you and help you search for you tent at 5am.
The music was simply amazing with the best sets (in my eyes) coming from the Stanton Warriors, DJ Yoda, Pendulum, Faithless and Mampi Swift. The levels were bang on and i could feel the bass from the mainstage through the floor at my tent.
Forget about the mud and the rain... everyone was too wasted to notice - the music, the people and the whole experiance has just made my whole year.

Thanks for you comments Mad and Alicey,I totally agree it was worth it overall.

I went went with one other on the Thursday night for a night out in Stratford (Lots of Woopie in Chicago Rocks, very funny apart from sleeping in my mates van then later in Mcdonnals as he decided to lock me out at about 7am,ha ha)We listened to Global 07 CD (Which is EXCELLENT by the way has anyone heared the 07 one?))

It took a while to get in on Friday but we pitched up on a nice dry hump, funahh (I think Madog was pitched up next to me there were 4 fellas in a white family tent which I think got a bit heated at times)
My mate was bragging about his pop up tent which he popped and the wind took it away,I caught it though and he thanked me by not helping me errect mine, ehemm enyway (Sorry about Terry Fuckwit by the way).

Saw Main stage opening then Sasha then Oakenfold later in the Blue Tent on the Friday and loads in the Dome on Sat because I wanted to see them.I did walk past the red tent on the Sat and the sound coming out was full on compared to the main one, never mind.

Will go back next year usually do Glastos and Bristol Ashton, which festival you
would go back to next year which one would it be and in what order?
