For the attention of the GG organisers:
Just a few questions:

1) Why are you not allowing people to bring food in with them?

2) Why are you limiting the amount of water that people are allowed to bring in and why have you stated that 1litre is allowed in the "info" area and then in the "FAQ" area on your website you then state that 2 litres is permitted?

Please can you answer these questions for me otherwise my friends and I will not be going.

Thank you

Soaps

will gazeebos be allowed in the campsite this year?

No. We will make sure there are plenty of shaded seating areas provided though

ive remember quite clearly last year that a group next to our tent got told to take there gezeebo down, then whilst me n my mate were checkin the place out we saw a stand selling them for £30?!?

im pretty sure the person selling it would NOT have given me my money back had i bought before seein someone else being told to take theres down?!

can global explain why they sell them but were not allowed to pitch them?!?!

So you can take it home and put it in your garden. Obviously!

Steve is there a clear list of what food you can and cannot take into the campsite please?

There isn't a full list as to name every single piece of food that you can bring would be a little arduous as you can imagine. Pre-packed food such as sandwiches, sausage rolls, crisps etc is fine

Also on the map of the site, why is there no toilets or showers marked in the General camping?

Its like last year they said you couldnt bring disposable bbq's in but were selling them in the site shop.... also my mate got her mallet to pitch her tent taken away... they also sold these in the shops!

I think that staff that search you are pretty clueless and obviously need more of a briefing! They said you couldnt bring sealed water with you last year as there was a no liquids rule and i saw people walking in with 5 ltr containers.

Oh i could go on all day but i would bore myself!

2 litres of water or soft drinks are allowed as stated on the FAQ section of www.globalgathering.co.uk

I have a weekend ticket but won't be camping. Is there a way into the arena without having to join the camping queue?

This food situation is puzzling me, just like it did last year. In the festival guide there is a fair-sized section dedicated to "campsite safety", which basically details the correct use of gas stoves on a campsite. Last year you could buy bbqs from a couple of the stalls inside.

Now, what is it that we are meant to be cooking on these gas stoves and bbqs? I don't much care for char-grilled ginsters pasties.

Just like last year there seems to be a Hell of a lot of conflicting info.
