Although a fairly new face on the Hard Dance scene, Avaline aka Chris Johnson (Head of Tranzaction)has been causing quite a riot on club-land over the past year! His debut track 'Never Sever' recently came in as runner up Tune of the Year at the 2005 Hard Dance Awards. Standing out from the crowd is easy when you’re Frisky – young, dynamic, gorgeous and playing a style that is dominated by men – these things all make you sit up and take notice.
She has been playing out since she was just 17, when she got her first residency at Breathe in Swansea. She has taken the UK and beyond by storm with her European Hard Trance and Hardstyle sounds, using her own tunes alongside bootlegs to wow the crowds.
Since then she’s come a long way, regularly playing at all the big nights – Q-Dance, Frantic, Slammin’ Vinyl, Bionic, AWsum, Concept (Ireland) and Tranz@ction as well as gigs in Ibiza. Making waves at festivals both at home and abroad has also helped her stamp her mark on the hard dance scene – with bookings for Escape Into The Park and HTID In The Sun. She made such an impression at Q Dance’s 40,000 capacity Defqon 1 festival in Amsterdam that she was immediately booked to play their Q Base festival, and was also booked for the Infinity Rave (Germany) on the back of her stunning Defqon 1 performance!

Her unique musical vision breaks the mould bringing an exciting original edge to her sets.
Since creating an impact on club land in 2003 internationally renowned UK based DJ/Producer Caroline Banx has been at the fore-front of the electronic music scene.
Always on the look out for fresh new sounds, music and inspiration her style is constantly evolving to reflect the party vibe.
Her early clubbing days on the London circuit cultivated her true love of dance music as she became captivated by the energy in the music and the atmosphere at the parties.
Entranced by the outstanding production and emotive content from artists such as Infected Mushroom, Dali, Sub6, Ticon, and Psycraft to name a few Caroline was heavily inspired to immerse herself in the studio to explore all her favourite elements of the music she loves.
From minimal techno, to psychedelic trance to electro she has started to create her own stunning material combining influences from across the board. Her new approach and a multiplicity of musical styles makes Caroline a versatile DJ always able to adapt and constantly grow as an artist…her style is making waves.
Her music is special and unique, a blend of psychedelic trance, trance and techno with a clubby approach, perfectly synchronized for the dance-floor. Her positive energy is passed through her music wherever she plays and is seeing her receive global admiration. Having toured New Zealand, Canada, The States, Asia, and Europe Caroline is set to hit Brazil and South Africa over the next few months.
Back to basics…She kicked off her career with a high profile residency at the legendary Sundissential events and since went on gain the title of Mixmag future hero after impressing the panel of judges with her technically tight sets at Creamfields and many Frantic events in 2004….Soon after she was signed with the elite to Nukleuz records.
Her rise through the UK scene is certainly no surprise as she fuses articulate mixing ability with her no nonsense style, delivering the very best tracks time and time again.
Musically she stands second to none and displays the greatest enthusiasm on and off the decks.
Not content with having captivated the UK scene, Caroline has spread her wings and set her sights firmly on global domination. Expanding her repertoire with various international appearances, she aims to spread her music to the furthest corners of the world.
On another tip…
After a successful season in Ibiza 2006 Caroline will be returning to the beautiful island this summer working as events manager for the Ibiza Experience. In addition as Subsonic Safaris newest resident playing weekly minimal/electro house parties from events at an abandoned zoo to boat parties on the Balearic Sea. Watch this space……..
