The Last escpae!! Sounds like a movie title or something doesn't it lol ;p It was the last night ever @ the legendary swansea night club escape. Fear not though as it's moveing basically to over the road from next saturday @ the old jumping jacks.

I normally know where i'm going well in advance clubbing events wise, but last night was the exception as i hadn't planned on going to escape, i was gunna go to norwich last night but i wont bore you with the details, but ended up @ escape instead and had a damned fine night @ the last escape!!

I got to the club just after 11pm and saw mr fused on the way in, damned good timeing there, nice 1 for that dude you Legend you, Cheers :)

11 - 12. Klubfiller.



1st time i've ever seen mr klubfiller and to be honest i allways thought the name was an alais for andy whitby!!?? I dunno why!!?? lol ;p Not really my music style but that said he played a good set.

12 - 1. Pickup & Rise.



Another 1st for me this night as i've never seen these play before. Not really my music style but that said they played a good set.

1 - 2. Cally Cage.



2nd week in a row last night was seeing cally cage play and for the secound week in a row i don't know of the top of my head a lot of what she played but what she did play sounded banging. Top Set :)

2 - 4. Andy Whitby.



2 hours Whitby Style, With loads of familiur sounding tracks remixed whitby style.

4 - 5. Rob Davies.



Playing The last ever set @ escape was mr davies, gutted i missed the last track as left about 4.45 as i was knackered like, but i struggled on as long as i could to hear him drop loads of top tunes and here's a few that jumped out @ me, The one that goes something like, are you haveing a bad time or something, and his wicked remix collabartions of Sky Dive & Nuclear Device T-U-N-E-S-! Top Set :)

All in all (allthough not my prefered genre of dance music for most of the night) That Said though I had a (yes im gunna yes the pun lol) Awsum Night @ the last escape :)

I might be off work as well, and my sister is goin to swansea for her bd this night! It's looking good :)

Room 1 was rammed all night. Got there about 11 and set up my cam. Walked into room 1. Saw how little space there was to take pics with the lens i had on. So changed it to a wider one.
To keep some people who moan about reviews that dont include all the rooms happy. Heres a quick summary.
The house room
i always seem to end up in this room when the resies are playing the floorfiller's. Dont know if this is by accident or if they are banging out the big tunes all night long. They certainly know what works and the crowd laps it up. Good to see bern back.
The garage room
its quite scary how much ive learned to enjoy bassline in the last year. think its down to being booked for so many bassline events and a lot of the tracks ive heard are remixes of classic dance tunes. I mainly went into this room as i couldnt face the carnage on the stairs trying to get back into room one from the smoking area. It wasnt the busiest ive seen it but the crowd was enjoying it. Good to see the s.b.a back.
The detox lounge
i always think of this room as the chill out room. Dont know why as they play the most f'ed up music i have ever heard. Nik and gwith bang it right out without any let up. I dont know what the music helps to detox from but it must be something pretty serious. This was the busiest ive seen this room since its opening last year.
The only downside was the lighting in room 1. To be fair its never been good but i think only one of the lights was working. Still reading the description of the new place i wont be moaning about this in the future.
All in all a fine way to say good bye to northampton lane.

Absolutely brilliant night - loved it!! Was way too hot as normal but top atmosphere all night!!

9 times outer 10 events i go to is only for room 1 and hardlly if ever venture into other rooms, i liked your write up on them then though :)

Same here when im not taking pics. The only exception was evo when i seemed to spend all my time in room 2
