They are not really stolen are they? If they are available to download legally from any website you upload them to lol. If you dont want them used dont post them up on places like DSI or Facebook were any1 can access them.

Think you gone about this the wrong way Nat, surely contacting the promoter of the event and asking why your photos have been used without permission would have been better. Yes it is annoying when it happens it has been done to me on many occasions, but I seem to find that route much better and seems more professional.

Yea gettin fotos nicked is pretty f**kin gay, the least they could do is ask our permission!!!!

But in saying that its not exactly like we set out at night to go make money out of these pictures(otherwise we wouldn't be putting them on here) we put them on here to share them with the raving community!

And in saying that i think its a compliment to our photography!
We put them up here to share them with people, an if the people who we took photos of want to share them with there friends an family then i say let them do it!(just be polite enuf to f**kin ask us)

When it does become an issue is when people create an album(to say as if tho it wer ther own photos) then thats definitely not cool!! Or even worse when they make a profit from the use of our photos!!! This is when legal action should an can take place!!
Obviously placing a watermark on ur pics can prevent alot of this, but that tends to ruin the image(for instance, if a really bold colour is used and the text smacked in2 a corner covering a quarter of the pic)
You only want to watermark ur images when u place them in a gallery where you want the consumer to veiw then purchase ur pics!

But what im boiling down to is that people steal things every day, im pretty sure that every single one of you have either at some stage downloaded music, software or a movie, even maybe material objects! What ever the case its still guna happen, and the solution is a simple one, and that is to steal back!!!!!! Waakakakakakakaka

Much love an stuff

I do this if I'm in the pic. If I'm not, I never would.

DSI should disable the 'right click save' feature.

Less pics would get swiped.

Do you allow your artists to play gigs where there sets are recorded by the promoter and then sold for profit?.

You can't do this on DSI gallery photos.

SI should disable the 'right click save' feature.

I doubt they use the right click save option, I'd say that most download them.

It may be an idea that if your picture is downloaded you receive an email from DSI stating who has downloaded it. Then if this does happen again you can contact the person straight away instead of seeing them on a flyer.

Surely if they stole something, you would be left with nothing?

Untrue. If this were true, piracy of movies and software would be impossible.
