Well what can I say!! Hats off to everyone involved in making Escape into the Park 08 what is was – fantastic!!

Intentionally turned up a little late to avoid the queues and headed straight for the Polysexual arena where Mark H was smashing out one top tune after another. It seemed like every single arm was in the air when he dropped Born Slippy – very apt for the occasion!!

The gorgeous dancers kept the energy rushing as Kutski took over the reigns. I heard he played a blinder as I popped over to Godskitchen to check out my mate Jules. He certainly knew how to keep the crowd entertained with his awesome tune selection and cheeky shenanigans with his camera! You knew who was up next as the crowd started chanting – ‘Eddie Eddie Eddie!!’



Meanwhile, I headed off to the main stage to check out Fedde Le Grand and was loving the crowd stomping along in the bright sunshine. Back to Polysexual where Lisa Lashes had just taken over from the ever passionate Tidy Boys. The arena was rammed and the laser show was as good as I had seen at a festival.



I had to go and check Joey Negro at L’America and he didn’t disappoint. Literally everyone I bumped into on the dance floor had a huge grin on their face – myself included! Almost time for the main event as I headed off to find a prime spot to enjoy Underworld! They did not disappoint and as the sun went down to the fabulous old skool tunes of Rez and Cowgirl, I looked round and realised I was not the only person thinking this was something special. Roll on next year!!
