Camp details - limited places only!
Right you lot.

The campsite we're going to is:

ukcampsite.co.uk

Slightly more central than the previous one - but still allows campfires. However it is smaller.

I cannot stress this next point enough - you must book and confirm your place with the campsite if you want to join us!

To do this you must:

  1. Ring them on: 01367 820667 to check that they have space and so that they can pencil you in - ask to be added to Iain Cunningham's booking
  2. Send them a cheque to confirm your booking (address in page linked above)

Note that the campsite is an old-school one - there is no shop nor bar on site. You must bring everything with you that you need!

It's going to be great there are already about a dozen people coming along - so if you want to join us get your booking in soon!

Iain, do you want to put 'Camp DSI' or 'Important Booking Details' or something in the thread title so people don't ignore this....?

On the website is says the site has 50 pitches, but we aren't taking over the whole place!

You can't just turn up on the day either, you do have to book in advance, so i'd book as soon as you can :-)

Iain. I will go if you add "no music on mobile phones" to that list and if you got a spare seat in your car from Leamington?

I was going to suggest, depending on how much stuff you are planning on taking Iain, as i presume we would go in your car as it's bigger.....do you want me to drive down in my car as well though?

Then we have space for extra stuff and to give lifts?

Me an some mates managed to get 5 people and enough stuff to survive a weekend at Reading Festival into a Citroen AX, that was a fun journey lol.

I suspect we'll have space for one extra person if we just take my car. The last time I went to camp I had a portable photographic studio in one half of my boot and my camping gear in the other.
