Camp details - limited places only!
Right you lot.

The campsite we're going to is:

ukcampsite.co.uk

Slightly more central than the previous one - but still allows campfires. However it is smaller.

I cannot stress this next point enough - you must book and confirm your place with the campsite if you want to join us!

To do this you must:

  1. Ring them on: 01367 820667 to check that they have space and so that they can pencil you in - ask to be added to Iain Cunningham's booking
  2. Send them a cheque to confirm your booking (address in page linked above)

Note that the campsite is an old-school one - there is no shop nor bar on site. You must bring everything with you that you need!

It's going to be great there are already about a dozen people coming along - so if you want to join us get your booking in soon!

seat in your car from Leamington?

I'm buying a car in the next few weeks too, so we'll sort it out one what or another. I'm looking for one of these tho, so it might take a bit longer to find it.

I suspect we'll have space for one extra person if we just take my car. The last time I went to camp I had a portable photographic studio in one half of my boot and my camping gear in the other.

Pointing out the obvious here...

Yes, but you have me this time.

With a 4L engine, I would hope so

Good luck with the MPGs. A mate of mine got an LPG conversion and said that it ran just as quick as when it did on petrol so might be worth researching in to it when you do purchase said vehicle

gas conversions are ok - they damage the engine though

its all about hydrogen fuel on cars - produceing hydrogen gas and O2 through elctrolosis as you need it from distilled water - gives up to 50% better fuel economy and 20-40% power increase - is totally safe and interchangeable on anycar once you buy the kit - takes about an hour to fit.

*stops thread wanking*

they only do what the driver makes them - you can do the same damage in a small engine car if you are an idiot.

aston martin DBS - 6.0

most american muscle is over 4.0

gallardo - 5.0

4.0 is pansy - my cherokee jeep was 4.0 and out accelerated a porsche 911 turbo to 90 and that was an auto.

That 911 must have been seriously knackered if that's true!

book figures on the porsche was 5 sec - on the jeep 6.7

only takes a wrong gear change on a manual to slow a car down drastically and the fact that the porsche gearbox is designed for high speed where as the jeep only does about 98 flat out.

lots of variables - i made a 1.6 205 gti do 62 in under 5.5 seconds and the quater mile in 11.7 - then i crashed it - lol

But how do you get the hydrogen? If it's from electrolysis that's only 50% efficient, so unless you use renewable energy then you create roughly twice as much CO2 as you would driving a petrol or diesel engine. Apart from the Kvaerner process (low volume and high cost) all the other ways of making hydrogen create the same amount of CO2 as you would do if you just burnt the input hydrocarbon fuel.

Hydrogen has many dirty secrets...

But anyway.

CAMP!
