Review of GOSPEL presents CN WILLIAMS & Reel House
On Saturday 12th April 2008 in Swindon, there was always going to be a natural disaster at the front doors of Suju nightclub. The Gospel launch party back in February was a road block and was the first taste Swindon managed to grab of a Gospel event with residents Samuel Bee & Rico e Liso so we knew the clubbers would be back for more at the one.

There was a lot of time and preperation put into this event which resulted in securing the DJ performance of CN WILLIAMS from Reel House Records. CN has been a long standing resident @ Escape in Swansea which has worked very hard to become one of the leading Welsh clubbing hot spots. We knew the performance would be a huge success after a large amount of emails from clubbers in Wales were forwarded to us with massive praise for the guy.
That night, he was actually warming up in Escape for Chris Lake who was there for a slightly more electro based event however, it did not stop CN from booting down the M4 to sunny Swindon for a pure House music show.

Flecker (BHive records) travelled up from London to warm the downstairs house room up first before he moved upstairs for a 3 hour Electro set. Again, another character who has never let us down with DJ performances @ Gospel.

Downstairs though saw Samuel Bee, an original member of the first created Gopsel parties in Nadi - Fiji. A true Gospel DJ who created the style with partner Rico e Liso on the beaches of Fiji with 12 hour house music parties finishing at sun rise on the Nadi sandy gardens!
Samuel provided the usual needs of the dance floor to build up for the peak performance of CN Williams.

@ 2am in the morning, CN showed up pushing his way past clubbers in the venue to get to the booth. His reception from the floor was amazing and he soon had a mass of heading boucing up and down through the club. A character to say the least, a fully qualified turntable instructor of house began teaching some lessons to the fans!!

Rico e Liso took over to bring the clubbers through another wave with a slightly harder setting of house. A wicked performance showing exactly why Gospel has earnt the position it currently sits in. A diverse night which ran through house music all many genres. Disco, Soulful, US, Jackin, Vocal, Chicago, Deep, Funky, with a bit of Electro at the end from Rico.

As the Gospel crew left the building around 6:30am on Sunday morning, the signs of a good night were still outside raving (with no music) on the streets outside the club. A sight which made would make any promoter smile after an event and maybe even church goers going to a more religious Sunday GOSPEL event smile as they drove past on their way to church!!!!!
