A great atmosphere to hear the drumz
Existenze was a little less lively (so I'm told) because of the holiday season but that didn't stop the steppers from steppin' and the Dj's from droppin' deep BASS. The atmosphere in the main room from eleven till closing was a non-stop junglist's musical paradise. SIMMONS laid some proper tracks and XCESSIVE seamlessly tied in anthems with fierce tracks I'd never heard. MC DUBBA U stole the show with endless lyrics and he even let this old school MC (me) steal the mic for a quick minute. Upstairs was led by JAMES while he spun less chaotic beats for the peeps that needed a break from the madness downstairs. Mixing House into Electro just to get a few more people grooving on the dancefloor was brilliant. This is a definate Hot Spot for Friday Junglists from Wiltshire to Bristol. I can't wait to see what Existenze offers on Feb 1st when Skibadee shows up for a birthday bash.

I think it highly commendable for the effort and orgaisation going into events such as Existenze at Suju. I have never had a bad time there and meet new and old faces. With the demise of Brunel Rooms, it is good to know that there are still regular drum and bass and jungle events featuring local and well known artists/MC's in the local vicinity. Hopefully 2008 will be a highpoint the D&B scene in Swindon.
