In July we bring you the almighty talents of Mikey Hook. Mikey's journey into becoming a producer and dj started when he began going on roadtrips to gigs with his brother Will Bailey. He had come from a musical background with his father playing keyboards for bands like Whitesnake and Magnum. But when he started going to watch dj's things began to change for mikey. He would watch the likes of Will and other dj's such as micky slim destroy a venue and mikey could see the crowds reaction for himself. Inevitably mikey soon realised that what he really wanted to do was be a dj himself, watching just wasnt enough! Now with releases on Simma records and Roostar Records and demand from other labels, mikey hook is beginning to be mentioned on the street. As for the future, who knows..... Alongside Mikey this month is the driving and incredible talents of Nick Fisher, with help for the one and only Lizzie Curious from Cheltenham's no 1 Night - Break Out and warming up the whole affair is the one everyone is unsure about because he is Opta'Mystic, one thing is for sure he wont disappoint.
