In the build of the Radio 1 big weekend and supporting Swindon Does Arts, INM8 & Design bring you SN1 Fest, an event celebrating DJ culture in Swindon and the surrounding area.
On the day there will be artists from various nights such as Electrophonic, BOSH, Bar Cuba, Kandifunk, Serotonin, Low Frequency, Discharge, Electrik Boutique, Audio Therapy, Design, INM8 and Tapey nights. Our appologies if an act from your night was not used if the day is successful then there will be more!
So whats the plan? Simple! Get yourself to The Bell Pub in old town and enjoy the 2 rooms of the finest dance music this side of Berlin or Bristol depending on taste!
Upstairs INM8 collaberate with Discharge to make the Skank Hall, pretty much an all day session of Drum & bass and dubstep with some of Swindon's most well known artists. The room will be kitted out with a heavy weight soundsystem plus extra lights with the usual suspects from the local scene.
The Design studio down stairs again will be kitted out with extra sound and using DJS from an array of house infulenced nights, the aim of the game is to start mellow to eventually picking up the pace as the night draws in.
If people know the Bell it has a great outdoor sitting area so if the weather is hot as predicted, where else is better as you prepare yourself for the day, night or is some cases the week ahead!
There is a minor charge of £2 only for entry so all involved are paid for their services, but you will recieve a stamp and you can come and go as you wish until it ends. Throughout the day there will be a barbq, a street magician and sweet extras, plus cool drink promotions!
