This was completely insane too. You have to hire a set of pajamas for a fiver when you go in, and there's two huge beds to lie about in!

Half way through the night, and the DJ stops the music and arranges everyone into two teams armed with pillows. Cue the benny-hill tune, and absolute mayhem.

It was called the Slumber Rave. It was in Shangri-La, which is what replaced the Lost Vagueness this year. Jolly good fun it all was too.

Ahh yes, we managed to get into "Slumbarave" on our last night at Glasto, though had to queue a fair while as it was so popular, it was just next to the Hackney Globetrotter Stage in Shangri-La, at one of the far ends of the area. The costumes/pyjamas aren't imperative, but add to the proceedings. My mate thought it was the best thing at the festival. Pillows flying around everywhere along to the soundtrack og funky hip hop and disco classics. The DJ got a bit agitated as her records kept skipping due to pillows being thrown in her direction! HAHA!! Cool, that they run the thing during the day too!! Plus they have a selection of portalooo toilets that are significantly cleaner than those next to the arenas and don't pong as much out back!! ;p
