Sad innit?
Big town like this and what are the clubbers talking about?

a private house party
pub night in shifnal
jobs
a shrewsbury event
a family photo
a really old thread
a birmingham event

I mean no disrespect to any of these threads, fair play to you for doing something...my point is how sad it is that there isnt a thriving clubbing scene in a huge ever expanding place like Telford.

I don't know if it will be financially viable though bro.

1) Need a free/uber cheap venue
2) need a venue with a sound system and dj equipment

i'm up for helpin out a night in telford.....ideally a sort of dj competition/open mic type of night where anyone can have a go at playing, all those bedroom dj's who fancy a go at playing out could come along and bring their friends/family etc.

It has to work financially to be sustainable, it should encourage plently of punters in to spend at the bar (keeping the owners happy), and it should be a relaxed vibe, no djs squabbling & bitching for the best times (picked out of a hat, except for the paid dj who chooses his/her time)

no more than £5 in
dj's play for free for 1 hour (1 guestlist per dj only)
the best dj (voted somehow, sms maybe?) gets to headline the following event & gets paid to play

Workable?

so only Midnights is on the cards as a venue then

i can't afford to pay the hire fee

i'd rather have 1 room playing different stuff every hour, something for everyone that way.
