From what i can gather the brewery have taken it over and put a temporary manager in while they sell the place. I think it opens up again on the 3rd May

Thats as much as I knew to. I do know a little more inside information but thats certainly what's happened...

Sad t see it go really. Went for a drink last night and felt very out of place!

Might not be all bad news though i've heard a little rumour that a certain old irish landlord is interested in takin it back over again so fingers crossed

Did you hear that from him though? He's got the Ring of Bells in Bishop now and I spoke to him about it the other night. He wasn't intesrested then? Could only say about how the place had died? It was better when it only opened till 12 IMO
