ENERGIZE - 25+ DJs / MCs - CLUB 2K : PENZANCE

Cornwall used to be known famously across the UK for liking the harder beats and for throwing the best underground parties in the country. With venues + nights which included The Venue, The Shirehorse, Cornwall Colliseum, Dance Planet, Club Dreamscape and Flyin Time amongst many others.

However sadly over the years these venues and nights have faded away and for over a decade Cornwall has lacked a serious 'rave' event. But all of that is about to change as 'Energize' steps up this summer to show the world that Cornwall still likes it hard and is still capable of throwing the best underground parties with the best atmosphere in the land.

On Saturday 16th August, Energize will be taking over Club 2K (formerly The Venue) in the seaside town of Penzance. Transforming it into a ravers paradise across 3 arenas, and we invite ravers across the UK to pack up their buckets + spades and come party with us by the seaside - and we’ve managed to persuade a selection of the UKs favourite DJ’s to pack their things and join the party!!

Playing the finest selection of UK Hardcore, Classics, Old Skool, Hardcore Techno, Gabba, Rave Breaks, DnB, Acid House + Electro across 3 arenas.

Ultrabeat (Live DJ set) - The biggest UK act to hit clubland – Pretty Green Eyes, Feeling Fine, Elysium (I Go Crazy) and I Wanna Touch You. Alos having just featured LIVE on BBC Radio 1s 'Dance Anthems Show as part of the 6 weeks of Summer. Playing a set of the best bounce that clubland has to offer we give you Ultrabeat.

Dougal - King of the bleep! Dougal’s productions have been turning heads and ears for 15 years. Fast thinking and always ahead of the game, Dougal is one of the biggest influences on the hardcore scene EVER!

DJ Sy - The UKs No1 scratchmaster and certainly no stranger to the S/W. The Quosh Records head honcho has over 200 well respected releases and has appeared on more Hardcore albums than you can mention. Without a doubt the longest running Hardcore DJ in the world.

DJ Force with MC Junior - The original master of the core – Pretty Green Eyes, Fun Fair, Wonderland, Field of Dreams and Pacific Sun to name just a few. A set to transport you back in time. Joined by the legend MC Junior performing many tracks LIVE

Scorpio - One of the UK’s biggest hardcore techno legends. Scorpio has played at every possible event from Helter Skelter to Gatecrasher’s Summer Sound system. Scorps is a rare breed - one of the only dj’s to be a clear favourite with both the underground techno and the UK hardcore crowd.

Loftgroover - A true legend from the Hardcore Techno, Gabba world and deffiately one of the S/Ws favourite harder edged DJs. Making a welcome return to Cornwall for the first time in over 1 years.

Chris Henry (Ultrabeat) - One half of the world famous Ultrabeat will be stepping up with an Eclusie Hardcore Set. Having already rocked the dancefloors of Hardcore Heaen, HTID + Raerbaby on a regular basis. Armed with some of the biggest vocal fuelled Hardcore madness this will certainly rock.

Dolphin - Another true underground DJ makes a welcom return to the shores of Cornwall with his frantic + hectic beats from the depth of the underground.

MC Whizzkid - One of the UKs most popular Hardcore MCs will be joining us exclusively allnight, regulary featuring at all the major Hardcore eents in the world aswell as recently hosting alongside MC Storm the etremely popular True Hardcore Album series.

Supporting this hefty line up will be some of the S/Ws most elite DJs including Radical (Shire Horse), Chris Cornish (Hardcore Reborn), Agent M (Tranzfest), Ben JAMMIN (Hard energy), DJ Flyte (Afterdark), DJ Fix, Saltee, DJ Raw (Shire Horse), Lee Ellis, Re:Defeat, GMC, MC Age O and many many more.

The event will also feature a merchandise stall, record stall and Photo stall, Crystal clear sound throughtout, intelligent lighting, lasers, full club transformation by Alphawave, dancers, visual screens and so much more.

Doors open at 8pm until 5am and this is a ticket only event, available from outlets + vendors across the S/W. there will be tickets on the door but these will be very limited.
