LEE ELLIS
Lee's love of dance music goes back to the mid 80's listening to a lot of Chicago House producers like Marshall Jefferson and Kevin Saunderson. That love of the music had him out raving in 92 going to Universe, Obsession and Dance Planet parties.
He started DJing in 94 playing House but soon went on to play Hardcore and Techno, such was the scene in the Southwest at the time.
Since then he has held many residencies, MI Bar (Falmouth), Candy Store (Plymouth), Kompulsion, Ignitions, Loud N Proud, all three at Grafters at "The White House"(on the Newquay road), The Green Room (Redruth) at which he also ran his own night for over two years. He has held two residencies in Tenerife at The Leopard Lounge on Las Americas strip and The Bamboo House Cafe in Playa de Troya. As well as spending 8 years as the Zetan Spore support DJ playing all over the Southwest including Glastonbury, Shepton Mallet etc.
Lee has also promoted the long running Fresh Logic club nights and free "Dune" parties at Gwithean. And the So...Funky nights at various other venues around Cornwall.
Guest appearances include, Trolle'd at Quibec In Leicester, Paranoid at The Crowbar in Swansea, Jelly Jazz at Bosuns in Penzance, Tall Trees in Newquay and Malubu FM.
Lee has also played alongside some top acts, these include among others, Mark EG, M Zone, Gyver and Jon the Dentist, Pete Issac (Jelly Jazz) Turin Brakes and Chris Coco.
