In association with Ultra DJ Management Superstar DJ - Ibiza Legend... Brandon Block! This weekend the clocks go forward, British Summertime begins! To celebrate we're bringing down one of the biggest DJs in the world. Brandon Block is a legend in clubland. Notorious for his substance intake, famed for his antics and even occasionally enjoyed for his DJing, it's no surprise that he won the infamous Muzik magazine award for Caner Of The Year, on more than one occasion. Perhaps Block's greatest achievement to date is he, with partner-in-crime Alex P, managed to create one of the greatest clubbing experiences in the world - the Terrace at Space, Ibiza. The pair set up an impromptu party on the terrace - then used as the cloakroom - of the Space club. The terrace at Space has since become part of the fabric of Ibiza , much like Block and P themselves. As a DJ, Brandon is no purist and will play anything that works on the dancefloor, which usually means full-on party anthems from the word go. As well as a few releases with Alex, Brandon has had success in his own right. Blockster's You Should Be Dancing went Top 3, while the follow-up Grooveline was a successful club hit, reaching 18 in the UK Charts. His TV work has included a series on MTV, as well as appearances on Rapture TV & "Trust Me - I'm a Holiday Rep". Yet it was his impromptu appearance at the 2000 Brit awards, during which he famously scuffled with Ronnie Wood of the Rolling Stones on stage, that really sealed Brandon Block's reputation with the public. Brandon will be playing in Room 2 with resident Max Honeyman on Saturday 28th March - the start of the summer! Room 1 will be Tony D's usual party mash-up!
