ye things wer alot more, toned down since last one, i still had a mint night, wernt as busy HOWEVER...... i wer fucked + mint tunes = perfect night to me!!! oh and fukin wicked comedown, nice one elle!!!

I think it was more a problem of atmosphere..

There were some damn sound people there, but there was also a fair few freaks and chavs.

Dont think a 55yr old woman has ever started on me before..was a bit surreal really! Oh well, a first time for everything i spose!!!

I think the problem that the lads are gonna face is getting a following of enough sound people to allow em to refuse entry to the freaks and knobheads..

I had a good night on the whole..

Wakefield unfortunately has a bad rep. I've met some sound people from Wakey who all tell me that Zone is the only club for people from local council estates to go to, dunno how true this is but its one of the reasons we stay away

tap water was free upstairs (i had alot), and BK did play a short set (can't believe he didn't get paid) .
needs a no tracksuit / burberry / 14 yr old policy but still a crackin' nite :)

Can well believe it, judging by some of the people in there.

Its such a shame tho, as the lads are obviously working really hard to make it a success. The line ups they're putting on should have the place rammed with nice people, genuinely there for the tunes and a good night...similar to how parlez-vous does..
After all, Bradford doesn't exactly have the best reputation either does it, but people travel from all over to pv..

Apparently one of the lads went home with the money, it was all on him when he woke up though, so I'm assuming they will pay whoever didn't get paid.

I heard that they couldn't pay BK and had to give the option of whether he played or not, but that it was because they couldnt afford..

went home early with the money.

ye that guy who looked like a kiddy wink were supposidly 31 years old lol... dat some fine ass anti ageing cream

me and a few others heard that someone ran off with dosh, but i doubt it, probs just a rumor.

also, alledgedly bk's manager were threatening to cut the sound in his set if he didnt get paid, talk about stuck up, they should be honoured people wanted to hear them play if u ask me, sure he's got plenty more dosh to compensate

If u did a job wouldn't you wanna be paid??? Especially when you could have been getting paid doing another job somewhere else. I know I would.

i still had a good night even with all the commotion and the bouncers, the dj's were good and 90% of the crowd seemed up for it just need a few more people and i rekon kryp2nyte can really relight the wakey scene
