It really was a frickin awesome night...!!
I've never seen so many people left in that place to be kicked out... With the exception of Hed Kandi nights...

I reckon it would have been well worth mentioning to the crowd about Formulate, because by the looks of things they were still raring to carry on!

The crowd were really up for it last night, the attitude of people was great, and there didn't seem to be any trouble.

Stu and Philpy played a wicked set, although at point i did feel slightly nostalgic, and remembered my days from the football club!! (check out the videos- you'll know what i mean!!)

Formula really does suit Area to the T... Not only funky, but there were some electro beats thrown in too, which made a great change to the norm in Area...!

Had a load of fun playing on Sat, seriously could not believe how quick 3 am came round - got very hot up in the booth but that nothing new !

As Georgia said i could not believe how full the club was at the end.

Formula + Area = The happiest and most energetic atmosphere I’ve seen in a very long time (probably since the last Formula @ Area!) Stu and Philpy were on fire and the crowd loved absolutely every minute of it. Personally I think that Area are all secret dirty vocal lovers; when Philpy turned the funky music down a notch everyone responded so positively it was clear that electro really is taking over clubland!

Thank you to everyone who came and made this such an excellent night – I agree with Georgia that it would have made perfect sense to promote Formulate cos the crowd were still up and roaring to go on by the time 3am came around – and time sure does fly when you’re having fun!!

Thanks once again to everyone at Area for another great night. The club itself is great and being full with an up for it crowd makes it even better. It was a pleasure to see so many people there when then lights came on at the end, what a shame it had to stop Im sure there was another hour or 2 left...

Muscially the crowd responded well to a mix of vocal and electro which was refreshing. I really hope its not too long b4 we are back there again. Thanks to Sal and the Area team for their hospitality, fingers crossed we see you soon... Philpy.

Massive thanks to the Formula crew, it was a pleasure to have you at area as ever. But biggest thanks have to go to the people on the dancefloor! One of the best nights we've had in our 6 years, amazing atmosphere and lots of positivity!

I have to say the crowd was amazing werent they! After almost a 6 hour drive back down South from Sunderland, I was expecting to be a bit lethargic, I kept telling everyone I was gonna take it easy in Area as I was trying to reserve some energy to last the night, Like hell did I! haha there I was standing on a stool waving my arms around like some kind of crazy person right until the lights came up, couldnt help it, the atmosphere was so good in there it just took over! Loved when the smoke cleared towards the end and you could see the crowd clearly... and Yes cheers Sal, as always the perfect host!!

It was great to have you guys back and there's no denying it - you all really are very nice people!!!
I had my new camera with me and i think i got some good results (til about midnight when my batteries died so i was left to enjoy myself without worrying about pics)

i woke up with such a sore neck from all the jumping and headbanging i was doing in the box with Georgia - OW!

Best night i've had for a while - loads of energy, a great crowd and a few tunes that really took me back!

Loving the "bouncy/banging" as i like to call it - Thanks guys for a truly wicked night....... when are you coming back???
