weymouthseafestival.co.uk SUNDAY 25th 1. The Harbour will be “buzzing” from 9.00am with Market stalls , charity stalls, children’s rides. 2. We have a fantastic showcase of Bands from 11.00am through 19.30 performing outside the Rendezvous starting with the “REPS” . Eleven Bands in all will be playing throughout the day. MONDAY 26TH MAY French Market, stalls, kiddies rides, catering vans for all tastes in food. 09.00 The fun starts!! The many trawlers will be dressing their boats for the best dressed boat competition! Come and see the preparation and the crews in fancy dress! The judging ends at 10.00. 10.15 Weymouth Life boat collects the Mayor and Sea Festival Queen and Princess at Cove Row. 10.30 Boats leave alongside for water & flour fight….Not to be missed ! 11.10 Trawler Race starts at Harbour entrance. HMS CATTISTOCK will start the race. 11.20 The Bass Boat Boys start their Race. 12.00 All boats return to harbour. Show case of bands outside the Rendezvous starting with - THE CRACK!!!! Bands will be playing through to 19.30. 13.30-14.30 Trawler prize giving outside of Rendezvous 14.00-14.30 inshore Life boat display 14.45 BIRDMAN & Walk the plank from Fish Quay. The Sea Queen Martina Smith will be jumping and the now famous “Oldest Birdman of Weymouth” George Lawson, He’s 70!!!! Fab gent. All Brilliant entertainment.
