THIS IS JOKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It really says alot about a club/promoter when they can't even come up with they're own name for a night. Resorting to stealing names & ideas is low. Says alot really. Pure jokes.
Bring on COLD TURKEY 2008 accept no imitations baby!

As pointed out, Offnoise are not involved with this years event at Banus on Boxing Day.
It is being arranged by the club and also by the other groups involved, Homegrown and Jacked, whom have played at the previous 'Cold Turkey' events as well.

So as not to totally disassociate this years offering from the previous events at Banus a similar name was chosen, as the style music offered is the same (other than Offnoise and life acts), but no branding, such as the logo, the phrase 'nuff said' or anything else non generic was used.

Full DJ line up to be finalised soon.

without the consent of Offnoise, as we would have (and are) objected it. This defeats the whole point of giving the night a years break and breathing new life into it in the new year. It just goes to show that the club is not confident enough to run a boxing day event on their own without trying to poach the crowd from over ten years of hard work...

Im sure if Jacked and Homegrown had know that Cold Turkey was against the name "wild turkey" then they would have thought twice about being a part of it. Heres to the old skool!

shame it has to come to this! It could have been called anything else...

After speaking to Max with regards as to what to reply, its quite clear that it serves no interest to carry this on on a public forum.
There seems to be a clear difference in opinion that is best discussed in private between the two of you.

NEW What's with all the smoke?!??

Well, after they stopped people stuffing 20 Benson and Hedges down their windpipe in enclosed spaces, we have to use a bit more fluid to get that smoky dark atmosphere that people expect.:)
