Sorry, going to be abrupt on this.
This is the biggest drum and bass act in the world at the moment and here in Weymouth we don't have mega venues that can pack thousands of customers.
Your fortunate to be seeing a name of this calibre down here at all.
Believe me, I've seen how much these guys are costing to get down here and if you think we're gonna get rich from these door prices your sorely mistaken.

So, if your going to start whinging about the price and how you can go to a London club or wherever for that, go to your Fabric or Ministry and leave a space for someone from Weymouth who actually wants to come and see this group and see the value in the fact that they don't have to travel.

If you've not got anything constructive to say, don't bother and go troll another forum.

Heyyyyy,,,,, easy there, I am not looking for an arguement, I was merely stating my shock at the price. I guess I didnt think about it until now, Whitby for £6 was excellent, and I knew Pendulum would cost more than that,,, I guess I would have expected ten pounds or below... but I dont know about finances, or number of punters so of course the price has to be set at an amount that will cover the costs.

Obviously Pendulum are expensive; they are THE best in the world, I know, I have seen them too...

I must say when i heard that Pendulum were playing at Banus (the best club in weymouth for dance music) i was over the moon! Please dont take my previous one sentance as an insult. I will be travelling form London to Weymouth especially to see Pendulm because I know they are amazing!

I have been a fan of Pendulum since Feb 2007 and I cant wait to see them again! :-D good work Banus for getting these guys to play weymouth :-)

I am well chuffed that Tidy Boys are playing in August too, I ill definately be down for that one too. Oh, and good work on Whitby! That was my first time seeing him, Banus sure are pulling all th best names at the moment! Weheyyy!!!!!!!!

If there was a way that we could get more people in and drop the cost we would, but we have to work with the space we got.Nothing short of bashing a few walls down can help on that...:(

We've been working on getting some of the acts appearing this summer for over a year and have, in some cases , had to book other acts to get a decent rep with the agents and thus a decent 'weymouthable' price for some of the larger names.

I really hope Banus keeps it up - 3 amazing acts this year (whitby, pendulum, tidy boys)...
PLUS wild Turkey was fantastic!

PS what is the capacity of the club, are you expecting a sell out for Pendulum?

The clubs limit is 750.

They happen to be headlining @ Glasto, i'll be setting my tent up @ the front of the stage...
