Dont Go In!
The Lounge is advertised as a safe environment to drink in. This was the first pub I went in with a group of friends (after getting ready for 2 hours) and managed to have a drink thrown over my head for sitting in an abandoned seat. The management were very apologetic and gave me a free drink, promising that he was barred for life because clientele like him were not welcome. Grateful for their actions I agreed not to tell anyone what happened so as not to tar their reputation (which is what worried them the most, not the fact that an idiot took his temper out on me). The next week I returned to the Lounge only to see the same guy standing at the bar, smiling and refusing to comprehend his rudeness the week before. Asking why the man was there, the manager put his head in his hands and admitted that the man was his friend. So I was lied to, he was never going to bar his friend. Infact, his twatty friend meant more to him than having a safe environment for his customers. I am disgusted that someone can behave in a manner and no punishment be served, I am disgusted that the management lied to me believeing I wouldnt find out. If you go in the Lounge beware that the manager's mate is free to chuck what he wants at you and it is definately not a safe environment. I wont be going in there again, my friends wont be going in their again and hopefully other people wont go in there either!

Wilkinsons in Weymouth apprehended an innocent man today because he was wearing a baseball cap.
He had picked up a non food item and then put it back on the wrong shelf. He was shopping for someone else as he works as a carer. As he left the shop he was grabbed by the security guard who is named Reggie and taken to the office to go through an unnecessary body search! Even though he was found innocent he was given a letter saying he is banned for life.
I would like to propose that everyone wears a baseball cap goes there and does the same thing, maybe lots of people at the same time. Sound fun?!

If anyones statement is invalid it is yours DJP. What is the point of your comments?? Im sorry you care so much to have to make some smartass remark. Why the hell would you complain to the council about someone kicking sand at you? My situation was totally different and complaing to the asshole and the management for their actions (lack of actions and lying) were both in order. The whole point in reveiwing on the internet is to write your opinions and experiences of a place and now that I have commented I am over my spilt milk (it was actually a pint of beer, not milk...)
