What a night I had! I have to say that it was the BEST event that I have ever put on but it was also the biggest challenge that I had set myself to date and months of planning and preparation had gone into place to make it the success that it was! When I walked upstairs and into the main room and looked across the dance floor to see everyone goin ape shit to Cally & Juice, I knew that it was all worth it!

Instead of writing a huge review with paragraphs and stuff, I’m going to pick out all the best bits and bad bits of my night (again, in no particular order, just what I remember first! Lol):

Good bits are BOLD

*Gavin Quiet’s ‘1 hour’ set turning into a 2 ½ hour set! Loved the scratchin too! Shame you couldn’t stay for the night as you missed a corker!

*Rory McCart running late! Tisk tisk!

*Seeing the Welsh massive pour past in dayglo cyber gear in search of the pre party! That really was a sight! Rock on!

*Rich’s (SoundTech) ‘chattyness’ He had lots to say! :P

*Cally & Juice being late! Boooooooooo!

*MNKY banging it out whilst Cally & Juice were missing in action! Gwan the ‘Minky’ lol!

*That guy not being let in cuz he didn’t have no I.D! Doh! Sorry duude!

*Going upstairs and seeing everyone go nuts to Cally & Juice! My favourite moment easily! That image made all the hardwork worth it!

* C & J dropping sum D n B! ergh!

*Lashes Pin Up Lover for wrecking the place! Lol (cheers for photos mate! )

*Crapping myself to death trying to work out wot the fuk to play after C & J’s set! Gabba?

*Forgetting about EVERYTHING once I’d played my 1st track (Technikal - You’re My Angel)

*Trying to explain to Madam Zu what decks were on what channel! We managed it in the end!

*Matt O.D phoning me and telling me he’d broken his leg in three places and couldn’t play tonight! Why I believed him I don’t know!

*Corbz getting booted out and being let back in! Fair play mate I’d have done EXACTLY the same as what you did if I was in your shoes ;)

*Only 1 Organ Donor? I wanted 2! Boooooooooooooooo!

*The Organ Donor(s) breaking one of the CDJ’s and me having to go steal the one from downstairs!

*O.D(s) playing Marcel Woods - Advanced! I love it!

*The fookin fire alarm going off and cutting out ALL sound from the
system! Well done to that twat who set it off! Luckily we managed to reset the alarm swiftly and get the music rolling again! Apology’s to Rory & Matt and to Jon the Baptist for your sets getting ruined.

*Watchin my brother dancing from the camera screens! Funny as fuk! He got drug searched too which is the most ridiculous thing EVER

*Matt Handy’s mental mash up scratchathon set! It was floopin kerrazy! A bit hard to dance to as I didn’t know whether I was coming or going but still it was good to listen to!

*Estee & Just Another DJ rockin downstairs!

*Dave Scott & Rightsound for filling in for Jimmy The Saint & Chris Barrett!

*The super friendly door staff! You guys are legends!

*Walking downstairs and seeing Robin H, Dan T, Dave Scott & DJ Rightsound all stompin together on the dancefloor! It was a quality sight to see!

*Estee & Fattman pulling the shapes till the very end downstairs!

* Steve O’Brady for travelling all this way from Leeds and then heading back to Leeds for another gig!

*Geoff Nugent & Carl Bailey for the evil slab of hardstyle! T’was rocking!

*Having no signal on my phone whilst in the club!

*Loved the Phat tuneage from Rory McCart & Matty Phact!

*Meeting and chatting to soooo many people!

The night overall was a great success and the feedback has been just phenomenal! I’m well chuffed with it all! Unfortunately tho the amount raised for charity isn’t as high as I wanted it to be. After sorting out all the costs from the nights takings, the remaining amount left is £271.34. This is about £700 short of my target of £1000. Still, it was a brilliant experience and the knowledge I’ve gained from this one can be put to good use for the next event that I do!

£271 is not a poor effort at all mate, we've done charity events before and they are grateful for any amount. The real reward is sitting back knowing you put a wicked night on. Top job
