With all the work and effort we had put in into making our 1st night a success, we were very glad to see it go 'right off' on the night!

We had nearly 300 clubbers through the door which is astounding for our little town on a Sunday evening considering two huge events had already taken place on the Saturday already (Tranzmission & GK @ BIC)!!!

We had a few technical problems with the soundsystem throughout the night but everyone I spoke said they had a great night which is all that matters to us! :D

Anyways, heres a quick story board of how the night mapped out!


A bunch of Kunts

After a few hours of frantically setting up, we finally managed to open on time with a small (it was small!) queue waiting to come in! They were greeted with the 1st DJ act of the night, Phatt Boy & Dan J

They played a mixture of warm up trance and some hard trance. It was the 1st time these boys had done a b2b and it went so well that we shall be seeing them as a duo more often!


S.F.M in action

Next up at 11pm was Corbz & S.F.M. They carried on from were Dan & Phatt Boy left off and continued to build up playing a whole host of upfront tunes including their own productions aswell. By now things were starting to get busy and the atmosphere was starting to build!


Groovers @ 11pm

Our 1st set of headliners were due on at 12am, Jon The Baptist & Chuck E. By now MC Shocker had turned up and he grabbed hold of the mic and did his thing (spittin lyrics like a mo fo! lol). It was at this point where I had to sit on reception for a bit so I couldnt tell you what the boys played. :(

At 12am downstairs had also now opened and clubbers were in for a treat! Double U was on the decks spinning a Drum n Bass set! I managed to listen to most of his set and I thought he was really good! A few other people commented to me on his performance aswell! Defo one for the future!

Now it was time for the main act of the evening! Cally & Juice! Again, I missed the first part of their set! grr! BUT I did catch the end and they were playing some Drum & Bass!!! I seen Cally do a bit of scratchin aswell which was cool and they played 'Floorkilla' which is one of my favourite hardstyle tracks!


M.N.K.Y + Ryki

2am approached and it was time for M.N.K.Y + Ryki! Now this is the set I remember the most of cuz i was involved in it! lol! I wont bore you with loads of details but we played some of our favs 'let the music play' and 'Deemon Dayz'. Seeing everyone with their hands up in the air for Arome's 'Hands Up' was pretty cool!


Stormtrooper & MC Mysterave

Our last set of the night was dubbed the 'Power Hour - LCD'. LCD stands for 'Last Chance to Dance' and we picked up the pace with some hardcore from our 3rd and final headliner for the night, Stormtrooper!!!!

I managed to have a quick boogie with the missus whilst Stormtrooper thraped out the tunes and it was a great laugh!

The 'Power Hour' went down a treat and everyone loved the madness that finished the evening! This will be a regular thing at all Firesky home events with Hixxy doing the 'Power hour' for our next night in May!


I fukkin loves it!

I cant really comment on ADT's set as I was playing at the time myself. Randoms and Mysteraves I also missed! :(

Overall it was a great night. Lots of things to improve on for the next one so if you have any suggestions then please PM me and we will do our best to sort them!
