The Fabio & Grooverider night at Banus, The weekend before Valentines Day, Slinky the weekend after… all things that could have meant a slow start to 2007 for Hard Trancelation, NO CHANCE!




What a banger of the night, James Canter was on first and smashed the bosh out of it! Harry’s long time resident who normally plays out all manner of styles, but on HT night he got to play his preferred style complete and total Hard Trance devastation!

I was on next for an hour and a half, I was playing darker dirty tracks for the first half hour before bashing out some more of my normal tracks. The best part of my set was when the crowed sang along to ‘Your no good for me’ remix by the Masif Dj’s.

Next up was The Corbz… Yet again he nailed it with some amazing tuneage old and new, this guy knows how to slam them around and really got the party going with some great tunes from the High Fish label.

The next set was Ryki and James Canter as MNKY wasn’t available, by this time Ryki was so smashed, he could still mix well but was jumping around behind the decks like a nutter and climbing up on the booth while shouting across the mic! He stole the show… or so I believed…

The Corrosive Twins were on and smashed the night to bits! There set was simply blinding and took everything to the next level… by the end of the night we had people coming up saying they were better than the tidy boys!

It was a great night which I’m sure all will agree went by far to quickly! On the 17th you can catch our man Ryki at The Lounge in Dorchester playing for Slinky along side John ‘00’ Fleming and Lee Haslam. Then were back at Harry’s on the 14th of April to play a verses night against Rude Awakening, it’s going to be banging… although this one hit some people really hard…

it got sorted out since then robin, all the channels all work in order unlike when you played there cos i think they got swapped over from downstairs?

but its still pretty cained! lol!

mate it was scary seeing a heath in that condition didn't dare move the faders for the nasty crackling sound

I think that can sometimes be the problem with mixers in clubs, the owners never really appreciate how a good quality mixer function properly can effect the outcome of a night, and how a dj manipulates the sound with it by using the features correctly, rather than just sliding the fader across at the end of each tune

Gav, the ressy DJ, takes good care of it tbf. He'll go to the club during the week to clean channels etc etc
