My Bionic Experience @ The Sanctuary Festival 2008
/>

Due to some personal stuff i nearlly missed Bionic @ Sanctuary!!?? But after a very down friday i basically slapped my self across the face saturday & said to myself, like D'OH I AINT MISSING BIONIC @ SANCTUARY NO WAY!!!! :)

After not getting lost @ All :) Me and Lee Mushroom got to Sanctuary @ 5.45pm and missed all the queing all together, Happy Days :)

Main Stage Representing Bionic. Which was in another tent due to the weather.

6 - 7. Technoboy With Mc Shocker.

Personally i've allways found a Technoboy set either a hit or a miss, and for me personally i thought his set saturday was a miss, as all the tunes i thought just didn't have that ooomph effect i really like in tracks, what i mean you know certain tracks from the get go are gunna be slamming, and then others they build up to be slamming, but i didn't get the ooomph slamming effect from hardlly any of the tracks i heard in this set, ok there was one or two i thought were ok but overall i wernt feeling this set @ all but loads others were though.

Bionic Arena.

7 - 8.15. John The Baptist & DJ Chuck-E.

Im more of a fan of hardstyle than hardtrance, evan though i like boath i prefer hardstyle, so in theory technically i should have prefered technoboy's set to this set but out of the 2 set's i much prefered this one, as the hardtrance they played i thought was slamming espically the track that has on the begining of it the star wars theme. Top Set :)

8.15 - 9.30. Cally Cage & Frisky.

What a way to open with, a Prodigy mash up of basically all there anthems Wahey :) Followed then from boath DJ'S Loads and loads of tracks, some hard house, some hard trance and some hard style. Top Set :)

Between 10.30 - 12.30. Saw. Kutski Vs. The Organ Donors. & Dark By Design.

Im Not a major fan of any of these, so i went for a wander and chat around the site, and baught a one nation baseball cap!!?? lol ;p

11.30 - 12.05. Brian M Vs. Mcbunn.

For me and a load more this was the set we were most looking forward to because these 2 allways smash out the banging hard style beats, and me and a load aswell was looking forward to seeing them better there set from last year as that set on the cd pack from last year has been played loads over and over in and around wales over the last year as it's one of there best sets. There set on saturday got cut short unfortcanetally due to some problem with the tent!!?? So the security got everyone out for a but until they sorted it. Before the set got cut short they played brand new tracks, so brand new that it was the 1st time that i heard them ;p including a remix of Chakra's - Home i believe that's what it was a remix sample from, plus they played that Slamming Trance Generator's track that i can never remember the name of ;p that goes pure domination. Top Set :)

12.35 - 12.50. Mcbunn.

After the problem with the tent was sorted and we were let back in, Mcbunn played a solo mini set of 3 or 4 tracks that included the deeper inside track, and zany's - pure the disco stuff remix and a new one that goes give me a kiss. Top Solo Mini Set :)

12.50 - 1.50. Issac.

I don't think i've ever seen a DJ smile so much in one set, as this dude was just smileing all through his set, which meant you could tell he was loveing his set. Plus the crowd were loveing it aswell, he played this one track that had a sample from one of my all time fave movies fight club :) and he finished with a top track that goes hard style is in my veins. Top set.

1.50 - 2.50. Danielle Mondello.

Only caught a bit of this set as i just wernt feeling this set plus the guest mc through this set really put me off :( The crowd seemed to enjoy mr mondellos set though.

2.50 - 4. Cally & Juice.

They kicked of with some hard trance, then as the set went on they got harder, and they played there new track that has the cally & juice and mc shocker will rock you and a sample of a track that goes all i ever wanted, in your arms, etc etc, top track, Top Set :)

Between 4 - 6. Mark EG. & Ed Real & Kevin Energy.

Missed though's last 2 set's as basically was knackered and had a long drive home, which was made longer through no fault of ours ie driver or navigator, no it was the fault of the srvice station, just like the way there the way home was easy ie didn't get lost once, but just outside wincester we stoped in a service station, and then on the way out, we followed the exit signs but to the road we were on and needed to get back on, but it turned us around and then we were on a road going the opisate direction evan though the signs said we were getting back on the same road!!??

Plus Most Of The Night In The Bionic Arena Was Hosted By Shocker.

Top Hosting As Usual Dude :)

And a Top Bionic Experience As Usual :)

I was right at the front when Kutski came onto the stage during the end of the Cally Gage/Frisky set, and the look on his face was priceless, he then said "What the fuck is that?!" the the mixer. Not Pioneer, but it was some other make (see my pics and you'll see it). Made me and the fellas laugh. Cally then basically said "Not a clue mate, not what I'm used to" lol. His look though.. wish I had the camera in my hand to tape it, could of been amusing to watch and share with you all.
Who laughed: Valley-Houser and LeeMushroom
