Hope not, its one of those festivals Ive always wanted to try out, would be a shame if that was the end...

Unbelievable. What is wrong with this country? Why can't the authorities just let people enjoy themselves? There are no security issues at Glade so why demand increased security? Are they just trying to catch all the people they just criminalised with the drug laws?
There is a sub-text though - why have ticket sales been slow? I thought that dance music was thriving but I was at a mini-fest last September with a decent line-up that was a shambles because the promoter couldn't sell enough tickets. And now Glade? Glade is irreplaceable and unique, and now its gone.

I dont think they do day tickets at Glade (which might of put some people off), £135 quid is a lot if theres only a couple of artists youre going there to see, by comparision a weekend ticket to Nature One (huge amazing German Dance/Techno festival) is about £60, UK festivals take the mickey big time rip off Britain yadda yadda... shame its been cancelled tho.
