Vanilla kick starts this year as they mean to go on and bring you the very best in house music from the past 20 years. ‘Alfresco’ launches on Friday 11th April with special guest DJ Danny Rampling and for the first time ever on a Friday night, Vanilla will be separated into 2 rooms

Alfresco was launched in summer 2004, beginning its life as an outdoor party mixing extreme sports with a 1500 capacity open air House music event. The extreme sports side to Alfresco gave birth to the first ever televised wakeboard nighttime slide event pulling in the best wakeboarders from across the world and being televised on Sky sports & Extreme sports in 63 countries around the globe. Danny Rampling played the first ever Alfresco event alongside the likes of Seb Fontaine & Steve Lee.

Over the years there have been numerous Alfresco events although not all of them have been on the scale of the launch party in 2004. But in 2007 Alfresco promoter & DJ Pete Walshe combined his efforts with Peppermint Parties to host the biggest open air house event in West London and ‘Picnic in the Park 07’ pulled in just over 4000 people.

In just over 2 years Vanilla has redefined the face of Windsor’s nightlife. This opulent and stylish venue is not only ideal for private hire & corporate entertainment but has played host to numerous leading and established party brands including Subliminal, Hed Kandi, Moneypennys, Hat Club, Kinky Malinki, Formula, Pukka Up, Pushca & House Sexy with an array of international DJs joining the core Vanilla residents. Jo Mills, Norman Jay, Jorge Jaramillo, Jason Herd, Brandon Block, Hoxton Whores, Tom De Nef, Bobby & Steve, Jon Jones & Andy Norman have all taken control of the dancefloor on any given Friday or Saturday night – and that’s just for starters.

Combine the forces behind Alfresco and Windsor’s number 1 venue and you have the recipe for the biggest and best night out in Berkshire. On the launch night alongside Rampling will be DJs Pete Walshe, Stacey Tough, DJ Fingers, Dj Pablo & Martin Mayhem.

The follow up to this event will be on Friday 9th May when veteran DJ Greame Park headlines.
