Friday 13th saw Judge Jules make an appearence in the
Liquid Lounge (for the 1st time i think).
Quite a new venue which i had never been to before myself, but will definately be going again!
After passing the juggling flame throwing people on the way in i was pleasantly surprised with the decor inside, by decor i mean the lighting and lasers etc

I did arrive slightly late so i only caught the end of the resident DJ on before jules, who belted out mainly commercial house/trance that the crowd knew and reacted to.
Then came Jules, who for me played an absolutely awesome set.
I am fussy when i go out, if i pay good money to see one of the top 10 best dj`s in the world i expect a good set with no mistakes!
Jules provided this an then some on this night with a amasing variety of tunes and more noticably to me, some really rude mixes!

All in all there was a great atmosphere , good tunes an dj`s on top form made for a wicked night!

Do look out for more events at this venue in future!!

The place was full of your typical Winsford cockheads that don't even know what real trance is, they think the best tune ever created was pretty green eyes, and jules played to suit them, never heard such commercial sh*t from 1 of the 'worlds best' djs before, oh other than at judgement sundays on the 8th of august....he played lots of commercial crap then too

haha i jus had to write a reply to tht, ( took a while i know) you are right, we wer out numbered by "cockheads" that evening compared to avid passion filled clubbers....i didnt think Jules`s set was bad atall, he played a few "well known" tunes buts its really a case of keepin the majority happy, he played a classic or two aswell, an his mixing was spot on, all i would expect at that perticular venue.

its just the vocals n things. the dj after was better. jules played well at creamfields though. by far better than mr oakenfold, what a pile of wank

Howeverrrrrrr I went the Syndicate on Saturday and he was actually really good he played some proper amazing tunes but in the middle somewhere he played face down ass up, now what the fooks that about seriously. I made a very quick escape and hid in the toilets for a while when he dropped that. Disgusting I tell thee

liquid lounge will always struggle cos of it's reputation as just a club for pisseads when de bees is full (u know who u are!) cos winsford is such a small town - it relies on it's rep cos be honest how many true clubbers live round here? i moved here from middlewich two years ago and we religously drove to gatecrasher (unless pete tong was on) @ sheffield in the past so people will travel - but winsford is hardly on the map. i saw jules @ crasher and a few all niters and he came across to me as an arrogant twat who played hard as fukc trance/techno or dodgy hard house (i admit not my bag) but this one time he wouldn't start his set until he got enuff applause from the dancefloor - not good and he got a bit of a bad reaction from a few clued up clubbers - u don't need that when ur off ur head! any comments?

hi matt, I deffo agree wid u about winsford! But believe me m8 there are many ov us stiff lookin for some GOOD nearer too OLD SCHOOL, NON TRANCE-NON HARD CORE (SHITE) you know what i mean im sure... MIDDLEWICH, we organized a illigal warehouse party(pochins) in the late 80s there, did u go????It was rockin...until early hours when we got raided lol...If u could let me know of any local(ish) clubs/pubs that are worth a visit! I av no transport at the mo, but i sure would like to feel those goose bums again. lol.

well ive lived in winsford for 11 years now and also been a dj of all things HARDCORE as well as playing hardhouse and trance, winsford does have a many true clubbers its just that we wouldn't be seen dead in our local venue's due to the rep and the pissheads that the liquid lounge and the bee's attracts, in fairness to the liquid lounge they used to promote there events with posters absolutly everywhere, but the laws on fly postering have become much tougher now with venue's being fined anything upto a £1000 per poster which has pretty much put an end to all postering in winsford... we used to batter winsford with posters for our event Jedi hardcore in stoke until we got threatening letters off the council asking us to remove them within 7 days or face a £1000 fine per poster...
If the events at the liquid lounge were promoted in a better way im sure they would be able to fill there venue every weekend, as for the de bee's thats a proper dance round yer handbag shitclub that i will never go to again.... the majority of clubbers in winsford are all into the hardcore scene and as hardcore has never been done in winsford they all travel round the country rather than rave in there home town... I would love to put a 100% hardcore event on @ the Liquid lounge but something tells me i would lose a lot of money in doing so....

Mags and kel are fine, kels now become a proper hardcore raver and also stage dances at most of the raves i play at... yeah i remember billy's party, do you see much of billy anymore as i aint seen him in pure time.... will let mags know that yer on the mount now...
