Monster!
Archees had a refurb, old news. Its now looking like a Surf Shack after years of looking like Bjorns Sauna house, but despite this teeny setback, along came the masses, and a few notable DSIers, and Erin.

The night kicked off with the paint fumes fresh and the floor only just finished in a "changingroomswesparenoexpenseexceptforcarolswages" kinda way..

Chris and Mike kicked the night off, playing a groovy mix of bass light tunes. As the evening progressed out came the eclectic mix of funky, commercial tunes, that make people wanna dance so bad, we had the gadjos, the michael gray, the chicken lips, etc etc. This is when people really got fired up, circa 10pm.

Me? I was enjoying myself dancing as though I was a cat that had used 8 lives and was not fearing the inevitable.

A note has to be made for the exceptional voices of Brad and Kelli, who always add a little something to the evening, along with Izzy on trumpet and various others with a pulse on the bongos.

A fun and fresh night of music, from across a relatively broad spectrum, if you live in Surrey and lurve the house museeek vibe, pop on down to Archees every 2nd Thursday of the month. Its good, honest.
