we like this guy!!! expect strange sounds from the deep
he's played next to some of the slightly more obscur names on the scene
and cuts it right on up with 2 laptops, live 101 synth sounds and more!!!!! woooooorrrrrb

BIOG
76- Born 16th June, Bangor North Wales.
86- Remembers first world cup
90- Plays drums in first band
91- Drums take the backburner as 3 DX100s and experimenting with electronic music take to the forefront.
92- Leaves secondary school for Bangor Art Foundation course spending most of his time making films to
accompany his music.
94- Moves to Cardiff, joins Newport film school and starts a collective called Acid Casuals with friends.
95- Has residency on BBC Cymru as Acid Casuals takes to the airwaves. Leaves Newport College to join
Super Furry Animals.
96- SFA release first of 9 albums to date, Fuzzy Logic while Acid Casuals visit New York for a 3 day tour
and to film a video for their first release 'Orangly out of it's head ' featuring a sample by beat poet Ken Nor
dine.
99 -SFA play to 60.000+ at Cardiff’s Millenium Stadium.
00- SFA release a Welsh language album on own imprint Placid Casual which becomes their biggest selling
record in the U.S to date, selling in excess of 20k for a welsh language album!
01- Receives Gold Disc for SFA's 'Ring's around the World ' album. Which was also the first surround sound
album ever to be released.
02- Acid Casuals release 'Filthy pitch' on Novamute, which was featured on a recent mix on Residency
Adviser nearly 6 years on.
06- After 4 years of tours a plenty, headlining at Glastonbury’s 2nd stage and recording and releasing of
another 3 albums with SFA, as well as ‘the summer of love tour around European Festivals in a Tank’ 06
sees the Acid Casuals embark on the launch of their club night sOMbOM in Cardiff leading to end of year
party with Claude vStroke. They also start there 2 year long residency at BBC Wales where as well as
playing his flavour of techno and house music they featured label nights including Raum, Connaisseur,
Minus, Kaliber, Made to Play etc.
07- Plays out alongside Green Velvet, Alex Smoke and Jamie Jones at sOMbOM's first Birthday party at
Cardiff’s infamous Coal exchange. sOMbOM continues to organize events through out the year bringing
together SFA and Weatherall for a party at London's Corsica studios as part of their U.K tour.
08- After a 5 week tour of the U.S with SFA, paps comes home to his residency at Cardiff’s sOMbM as they
continue to bring guests to Cardiff including the likes of Craig Richards, Agoria, Silicone Soul, etc. He also
had a monthly residency at London’s Corsica studios with plays along side Daniel Bell, Phonique,Matthias
Tanzmann,Octave One and more before taking time out over the summer to write new albums for both SFA
and acid casuals, hopefully due for release early next year. sOMbOM will continue with the club nights and
release new Acid Casuals material in the New Year!
