Well well. we have another contender in the not so sleepy town of Wrexham.
Discology is a new night devoted to all things electonically squelchy and disco.

This night was a touch reminiscent of those popular shindigs hosted by the disted twisco boys.
soulful techy house, whole punched with quality disco cuts like Cerrone feat. Jocelyn Brown - Hooked on you (TUNE!) progressing onto more electronic jackin' vibes - tunes dropped by artists such as Switch and DJ Touche (NICE!). And lets not forget Barry El Saxo.

A dirty and very ear pleasing 2 hour warmup set was dished out by resident Mikey Williams, later joined by Barry - drifting live alto sax over raw funk and deep cuts. resident 2 Andy Perrins raised the game with a jackin' electro set, getting everybody who wanted to be somebody on the floor before guest DJ Dave Hammond went full force with a right royal nostalgic crowd pleasing set, that was all in all FUNKY!

The only damper on the night was the snow that probably stopped a lot of people making an appearance. But I'm sure next time will be..... all wight on the night...I thank U.

After talking to the boys (residents) It's clear that Discology is a meeting of minds. One undergound & disco, one jackin and electronic. Both with a view to merge styles and give Wrexham a slap up meal of HOUSE MUSIC!

Discology is every week for six weeks with secret special guests each week. So nobody has got any excuse to get down and check 'em out before they take the night monthly with bookings from some very special guests (they wouldn't say who). This is a gathering that want's to coincide with other club nights in the town and from hearing and seeing what these guys can do. This is a very strong probability.
