Much mad love to all who came down and saw The Djangos playing to a (suprisingly) large crowd and rocked it good and proper! A set comprising mostly of our own songs was well received and not without the usual cheeky additions to songs that no Django gig is complete without.

The Pimpin' Chimps (aka me and Colak) played a varied and eclectic set with a trip back to madchester, a visit to Prodigy land and some damn fine deebee via breaks and techno. It went right off from there onwards and ended a slight blur...

A proper rockin' night all round for the Halfway and the packed makeshift dancefloor was bouncin till the early hours. Coolay!

Edit: I actually turned up, and stayed to the bitter glass covered end. Result. And Cyzonone was a no-show.

As i'm not one to turn shite down ... I had to work ..Repenting for my latter sins on the hedonistic tip of the Drakestonk ( or Wakestock ) I did sack off work for the rave ... I'm sure you boys by the sounds of it were more than prepared for every contingency... Without me holding the reigns i'm sure the party was a complete success....

Wish I could have stayed till the end, being in pub is no fun when you cant drink booze though... damned cars...

Anyway well done Alex & co, the band was ace!! Colak really knows how to throw a party doesnt he??

i haven't got many skills, but getting a lot of people really drunk is one of them...
